Visited the Oxo Tower Brasserie yesterday evening, The tower has an excellent location right on the edge of the southbank overlooking the Thames.Make sure you arrive a bit early to give yourself the opportunity to enjoy a drink on the balcony before you sit down for a meal, the views are stunning over the Thames and beyond.

The food is quilty produce and as such is not cheap, the menu has approximately 6 starters , 6 mains and 6 deserts, i am not sure how often the menu changes but prices for a starter range from £14 - £20, main courses start from £20 - £35, side dishes average £5 a go. Deserts price between £7 - £10.

If you have a bottle or two of wine you are looking at £100 PP, ok not cheap but honestly as a one off i would recommend giving it a go.

So what one dish do i recommend, The 28 day aged Angus Sirloin, seriously melts in the mouth, not cheap at £35 (plus sides), but in flavour and tenderness worth every penny.

“Perfect for your anniversary gentlemen!”
Reviewed July 3, 2014

I took my girlfriend here for the first time for a pre-theatre meal, from the moment we arrived we were treated with a friendly genuine smile which can be a rare thing in some of your fancier establishments, I was going to take her to a michelin star restaurant but with combined with the view from the OXO Tower i was so glad i choose this place. The food was well flavoured, well cooked and arrived just in time before our table bread ran out. i definitely recommend any duck or lamb dish on the menu. I do have to add that I do enjoy my food and i do expect to be full after my meal, not Las Vegas buffet going to burst kind of full but at the very least content and i definitely was, no sushi servings here!!

I had also told the restaurant we were celebrating our anniversary and they must have thought it was of the wedding variety because we received a complimentary box of truffles and a picture and frame to go with, topped off by the jealous stares from the couple who had just spent 150 pounds on a bottle of champagne on the next table! Im not sure if this comes as standard but it was a great touch and made me look like a real legend in front of my better half! So much so I could have probably saved on the theatre tickets and just taken her to the pub :)

This is also a perfect place to take your mum!

“Birthday Lunch with a view with son.”
Reviewed July 1, 2014

Amazing make sure you go with a table booked as very busy on a warm summers day. Stunning views from the outdoor seating area overlooking the Thames.
Fantastic and attentive service. We only had main courses which where presented well and tasted amazing.. But the wine is over priced and so are the coffees and soft drinks.
But the overall experience was good enough to return but this time with an offer of three courses and a free cocktail on arrival for £30. considering my main course cost that this looks a good deal. I will report back.

“Good restaurant in historic building”
Reviewed July 1, 2014

Great food and nice decor. I guess that, with better weather, the outside terrace would have provided an even better experience.
But it was so windy that we opted for the inside, which nevertheless allowed a spectacular view of the Thames and St.Paul.
Impeccable service.

I went here last November and it was just as excellent as it was then. The location is fantastic with the most amazing views of London. The food is delicious and there is a huge wine selection. The service is second to none.
