Eat in the resturant the view was beautiful. The waiters were very nice and attentive. Althouh the portions are small the meal was filling. After we finished and paid we sat and had a drink in the bar, the waiter come up and apologised and told us that they had over charged us £21 they were going to refund us but rather than the hastle they gaves us our drinks for free. Very honest people. The bill come to £160 for two starters two mains and a couple of drinks. My boyfriend is just lucky I dont have expensive taste and didnt order the £3500 bottle of champagne.

Lovely iconic location and staff excellent. Decor a bit basic and were it not for the riverside location and views would not have gone here. However the menu is quite small and very limited. Starters are around £12, mains £25+, side dishes £5 and desserts £9. A meal for 2 with coffee and a couple of glasses of wine will set you back around £150 which given the overall experience is way over the top.

Went for dinner with friends on a cold winters night. We were seated in the rear of the restaurant close to the corridor that runs along the back. be aware that these seats in winter eventually feel very cold - we had to go back to get our coats after the main meal.

To the hostesses credit, once they knew we were cold and there were spare tables, they moved us around to the front which was much warmer, If I get those seats again, I will ask to wait for another table instead.

the food was just stunning - entre, mains and deserts and the atmosphere is always lively. If you are seated around the front, you have terrific views of the river and St Pauls but it is ALWAYS busy so seats in the front aren't always guaranteed. Since my last visit they have moved the bar from the back to the front - I think this is a big mistake, especially with those cold tables in winter. they've taken prime table real estate for dining and lost it to people who are waiting for tables or just in for a few drinks - doesn't seem like a good idea financially.

that said, its a terrific place to take friends visiting and definitely a top restaurant in London. it was £235 for 3 people having all 3 courses, but no wine (just cocktails) so its not cheap but it is worth it.

Went to the restaurant and had a superb meal. On arrival we were shown to a table in the bar area overlooking the Thames, where we had cocktails. The staff were friendly, very polite and attentive. The menu was well thought out and it was almost impossible to choose what to have as all of the dishes were so appealing. I eventually made a choice and wasn't disappointed. The wine selection was extensive and the wine waiter really knew his stuff. The place has a great feel to it and it is one of the best places in London for a special treat or when entertaining valuable clients! I do recommend booking well in advance and requesting one of the window tables, preferably on the Thames side. I have been 3 or 4 times now and have always had a great time.
