Been here several times and this restaurant never fails to deliver (food). Introduced by a friend, the place looks unclassy from the outside and the inside is cramped as well. Visit on weekends and you can expect to wait in a queue. Sometimes the queue extends all the way out on the walkway pavements so be prepared if you have to wait in the cold.
They have a decent variety of dishes for ordering. It's a small outfit so can't expect all kinds of Japanese food to be available. The most value for money would be the curry don (rice). Be it pork or chicken, the portions are big and the rice is also the Japanese kind (pearl rice).
The food here will certainly fill your stomach and if you're out for a place where you need both a bargain and quantity, head down to Misato for the curry rice.
