“A nice place to stay in Wimbledon”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2013

Stayed a week at this hotel in Wimbledon. Our room was on an upper floor towards the back of the hotel. Value was very good. Staff was helpful and friendly. Clean and comfortable, large bathrooms. Would return for sure.

Room Tip: Pay the extra for the better rooms, it will be worth it.

+Great isolation +new, modern bathroom +nice roomsize +good location with near busstation and only around a 10-15 mins walk away from the wimbledon station

-quite expensive for 4 nights and without breakfast
-staff was ok, not overly friendly

Room Tip: Our room/window lead out on the street but as we are used to traffic noises we weren't bothered...

We spent 4 nights in the hotel in April. The room was well appointed, with a very comfortable bed.
The breakfasts were first class and the staff attentive and very helpful. The location was perfect for us with good transport links and the car park was one of the reasons for choosing this hotel.
Paul was very friendly and always found time to have a quick chat.
Altogether we had a very enjoyable few days and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Centrally located, warm room which was welcome on a cold April night, stayed 2 nights, slept well. Good size room, very clean, with balcony overlooking car park.
Asked for a second table lamp, so that we could both read, and was told that a new delivery had just arrived but they may not have any light bulbs. Leave it with me says the desk manager (?). No lamp arrived - presumably forgot or didn't have time to find a light bulb. At £214 for the two nights, excluding breakfast, this showed a lack of concern. Indeed, whilst the hotel is reasonable it could so easily have been great with just a bit more attention to detail. OK, a small point but......

Room Tip: Stayed in room 206 which was fine - but check their are two table lamps,

We held our wedding day here on Saturday 30th March, and after a few hiccups with events organisers we finally and thankfully had Paul on board. Paul was very obliging and always answered any queries we had leading up to the event and on the day. Roxanne was also very helpful and accommodating on the reception. Our day was one we will certainly always remember and strongly recommend the Antoinette Hotel to anyone planning their wedding and considering the Antoinette as their venue. I believe reading the booking.com reviews there were people staying who complained the wedding was being held there and parking for them was a problem but guests booking are made fully aware of weddings taking place on the evening they are staying and some are even offered discounts on their rooms for this reason so cannot really see how they can complain! A big Thank you to Paul and the staff at the Antoinette Hotel for our fantastic wedding day!

Stayed here as part of a wedding party (apologies to the other guests!). Clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Particularly impressed with the staff in the restaurant (Lambourne) who coped well with an unexpected party of 25 slightly tipsy revellers. Very good breakfast buffet with eggs cooked to order. Perhaps a bit pricey but I balance that with the free parking. Would recommend for a simple stay.

Great place to stay for getting out and about in London. Easy access to tube and overground. Easy access to pubs and restaurants. Great Rooms and Rates. Helpful Staff. We're going back next time we hit the big smoke.
Just one note. It is a boutique hotel. So they offer an excellent service, but sometimes the room service sandwich late at night is a little damp...guess the chef has gone, and "ready prep'd" tuna sarnie suffers as a result.
But cant fault it otherwise.
