Description: London's original fried chicken and waffles joint, born in Shoreditch in 2014. We serve some of London's best fried chicken, wings, burgers and awesome desserts and drinks.

As far as the mains go,things have gone down hill a bit. They’ve tried to get too experimental. The Caribbean Chicken waffle wasn’t great and should really be taken off the menu in my humble opinion. The “Canadian poutine” wasn’t authentic either. It was just overpriced cheesy fries. In regards to the deser & drinks, they are the best things you’ll find there. Their original signature chicken waffle and maple syrup was great so I’m not sure why it wasn’t promotes on the menu. As they say, if it’s not broken, don’t fix it!

To start with verything was cold so we had to heat it all in the oven. We live 5 minutes away from the restaurant. (Deliveroo)

I got the:
chicken tenders - Dry and absolutely TASTELESS. You have better tasting chicken at your local kebab shop. Shocked
Royale burger...(so much sauce it was a mess to eat and again tasteless chicken)
Macaroni cheese - ok... but cold?
Gravy mash - ok... but cold?

Just appalling. Would never recommend and actually just stated to get stomach pains writing this.

How on earth can you be a fried chicken restaurant and have zero taste batter. Go to Morley’s instead or KFC.

Had food delivered from bird today at around 930, ordered the mash and gravy, chicken wings and blue cheese sauce, cauliflower and some drinks. The mash and gravy was a tiny portion, no more than two spoons worth, it was colder than room temperature, underseasoned and had bits of macaroni pasta floating around in the mash. The chicken wings were underseasoned, burnt, the batter was flalling off and the blue cheese dip had split and tasted vinegary. The cauliflower was greasy and overcooked, looked disgusting and smelt awful. The drinks we ordered were also wrong. The only upside to this food was knowing that id already got my worst meal of 2019 out of the way.

We went to the Camden Market to grab some food but it was so cold outside we needed to find somewhere inside to eat so we dropped by this place.

The staff were friendly and eventually seated us after a few minutes' wait. The place seems to do a lot of takeaway as well as there were plenty of Deliveroo and Uber Eats drivers coming in and out as we waited.

The food is pretty simplistic yet surprisingly tasty. Just stay away from their super spicy sauce - it's strong stuff. They also have a surprisingly good collection of beers.

Overall a good experience and if this kind of food is your style then give it a try as you won't be disappointed.

I'd heard good things about Bird so came with some friends for the all-you-can-eat deal.

The two marinated wings are quite nice (Buffalo and Korean), we all started with those.

However, when you order any of the other flavours, you just get plain wings which are quite dry and flavourless and pots of sauce. We tried all of them, none were very nice but in particular avoid:
Both honeys: Really awful, literally seems like its just a pot of watered down honey.
Sticky soy: Okay flavour but again really watery, doesn't work at all
Coconut jerk: I have no words to describe how weird and bad this is
Katsu curry: Pretty sure this is just curry powder and water
Royale: Very odd

StiIf you are going for a meal then definitely stick to the Buffalo and Korean wings. I definitely won't be returning
