“Wonderful location in the heart of the Theatre District.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

Tucked away on Suffolk St. enter into a wonderful lobby, black and yellow seats one side, classic style seating the other side. Smooth quick check-in. Room was "pink" on the pink and green floor. Very modern, beautiful linen on the oh, so comfy beds, large marble bathroom, double sinks, large walk in shower. Large conservatory lounge , library with "Honesty" bar ,open 24 hours. Bar, restaurant......just an extraordinary hotel !!!!! All staff very helpful, friendly but very professional. know you by name.Yaiza in the bar went out of her way to explain each and every cocktail. This is a case of what you pay is what you get and you wont be disappointed. Oh,and the pool , a full size, is amazing...

Stayed here in June for 2 nights. The hotel is gorgeous-straight from a magazine in its design-every room is beautifully decorated-modern and elegant.
Our room was small but cute-with a small window looking straight out to the main road, but was extremely quiet. Perfectly appointed with all mod cons, heaps of hanging and cupboard space and fantastic large bathroom which looked brand new, with fantastic strong pressure hot shower.
The reception staff were always very friendly and helpful. Brumus was excellent-and we ended up eating breakfast there every morning as was so delicious.(we hadnt done a package with breakfast as thought we would prefer to eat out,so would recommend including breakfast in your room rate)
The position of this hotel is perfect, walking distance to all the main tourist and shopping destinations and close to train.
It was a shame we didnt have time to use the pool as it looked divine.
would highly recommend this hotel and will def stay here again when we return to London.

I travel all the time and stay at many hotels. I have never written a review. This hotel deserves one! Fabulously located just a block from Hyde Park, it is an easy walk to Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar SquAre, etc. My room was very big, beautifully decorated like the rest of the hotel and full of lovely details . The service was impeccable. After my first visit to the front desk I was always addressed by name. When I asked about a running map, I was given one with multiple routes on a card with a string so I could carry it around my neck for easy access. Very handy! Fluffy towels and bathrobe, fast and delicious room service and nice wines in a beautiful downstairs lounge with an honor bar. This place is amazing!

Room Tip: I loved being on the first floor facing the theatre. You would have more privacy a little higher.

A nice modernstyle (but not excessive) Hotel with good service and idealy placed for Regent Street, Picadilly and China Town visits. A Place you will like to stay if like oldfashion or modern.
A Musical theatre is just opposite and many business companies are nearby.

Room Tip: Near Piccadilly, China Town and Regenet Street. Quite modernstyle Hotel but nice rooms and good serv...

We stay in London very regularly and thought we knew most of the best hotels the city had to offer. On our last trip, a celebration birthday weekend, we were delighted to discover the Haymarket Hotel and can't believe we hadn't found it before.
London was heaving, tourists everywhere, demonstrations seemingly on every corner..to return back to the peace and tranquillity of this hotel was an absolute delight.
Our room was beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable and the service throughout our stay could not be faulted. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we've ever come across in the delightful dining room. The only minor criticism I might make is that it would have been good to have had coffee making facility in the room, it's often just too much of a pain to call down for room service if you fancy a cup of coffee first thing in the morning! We will certainly stay at this hotel again - and next time hope to have time to enjoy the swimming pool and bar!

Room Tip: Lower level rooms have higher ceilings. We had a corner room, which was light and airy

In general, the hotel was very good, in good shape and with a team that sincerely cared about the guests of the hotel. However, two things left room for improvement.

Firstly, the air condition at our room created very dry air (and we tried several settings), creating some not so good sleep conditions. Secondly, while the breakfast was very good and quite generous, water was not included (!) which feels cheap given the level and pricing of the hotel.

In general I would prefer their sister hotel Soho hotel based on location and rooms.
