Used as a base to be near to Tubes & Family follwing a trip to the football this weekend...it worked perfectly for us. Only blot being one of the "clean towels", left for use by my son or I, wasn't ! Breakfast was missed as 9.30am deadline on a Sunday morning far too early for us after an evening celebrating a good away victory !!!
Genuine friendly welcome, and a welcome cup of tea for us all after our evening meal in town.

A genuinely good hotel with great staff, good quality rooms and a pleasant location opposite Finsbury Park. Breakfast was very good too. We visited with two children and would definitely return and recommend to others.

The Best Western Highbury is located on the outskirts of London, but still central and well connected via tube (Victoria or Piccadilly Line). The rooms are small, breakfast is simple but sufficient. Reception is very nice.

Location was good, just 5 minutes from the metro and in less than half hour you're in central London. We stayed at the flat which was surely ok. Breakfast was good, we did not needed more. The reception is the bar at the same time, would have been nice to create a bit more of a cozy area in the hotel. All over a good option if you would like to stay not far from the centrum, but also don't pay too much.

Located roughly halfway between Finsbury Park and Manor House Tube station on Seven Sisters road, you can tell its been recently refurbished to a high standard. Everything was spotlessly clean with a good bed and excellent shower - what more do you need? The bathroom area is quite small but perfectly adequate especially for a short stat. The staff were perfectly pleasant and overall I couldn't fault the hotel - especially as for a night including breakfast was just £63! For London that's a good deal, but I wouldn't have been annoyed had I paid £100.

The only thing to maybe be aware of is the staircase is quite narrow and steep. They do have a lift but it doesn't go to every floor (its an old house built on many different levels) so if that's important give them a call in advance to get one on a lift level. The hotel borders a main road so feels relatively safe even at night, but of course take sensible precautions! Its between a 5-10 minute walk from either Finsbury Park Underground/Rail station or Manor House Underground. If you have a choice, Manor House is the better option, is easier to find. Simply take "Exit 5" and walk straight ahead (you should have Finsbury Park on your right hand side). From Finsbury Park there are a couple of busy roads to cross but this station has more services. A tube into central London will take about 15-20 minutes. Alternatively their are buses right outside the hotel to Euston, Kings Cross, Camden Town and Trafalger Square but expect at least 40 minutes to Central London. There isn't much to see or do in the immediate area so don't expect a wild night out around here! There is a nightbus back from Central London, or I'd expect to pay about £20-£25? for a taxi.

Overall this is an excellent hotel, priced as a budget but has much more of luxury feel than you might expect. Its not a posh Mayfair hotel by any means, but much nicer than a Travelodge!

Stayed in September with my two work colleges. Room was clean, and of a decent size for a triple. Beds were comfy, staff very friendly apart from this one grumpy old man at the front desk. Decided to stay longer and after speaking to front desk got offered same price as original first night!! Car park a little tight, but better then none like a lot of the surrounding hotels. Wold reccommend.

Stayed there last weekend. Having booked a quad room to get extra space for my 16 year old daughter to stay in the room with my wife and I, we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment at no extra cost. Loads of space and very clean. 3 minor points. No hooks on the back of doors to hang up towels, no cutlery other than spoons for tea/coffee making and oddly a 3rd bed in the lounge area when they knew there were only 3 of us (unless my wife had asked for it ;-))
Breakfast does get a little crowded and the food is simple continental but plenty of it. Also parking at just £10/night on top of a great room rate in the 1st place.
Very friendly/helpful staff. Happily stay there again and would recommend anyone else to do the same with confidence.
