We stayed for 5 days for the easter.First off,let me say a big thank you to Umar and the trainee member of staff (domenique, i think ) on the front desk. The kids loved it,Our daughter got a great laugh out (of the guy with the funny hair)"her words not mine"Anyway Victor(funny hair guy)gave her marchmallows for after her breakfast, what a great idea,i`v got to say thank you to him for this,as she`s a 4year old who takes hours to eat but when she saw the marchmellows breakfast only took about half an hour.O i can`t forget the house keeping team who gave us the extra coffee "i do like my coffee"and even folded the towels i left on the bed. This premier inn is in a perfect location, the tube is a short walk away. From here we went all around London. We did get the number 15 bus a few times too, it stops outside the tower of London. We got our oyster cards on line"a great way to see London"so we didnt have to worry about buying tickets. For a big family room aswell as the great breakfast and the great staff. You have to stay here.We had a great stay.TANX TO ALL THE STAFF

Room Tip: All i can say here is try get a room on the 4th floor anyway

Decent room as you would expect from Premier Inn, good facilities and well placed for the Tower of London. There are also plenty of pubs, restaurants, etc in the vicinity. Reasonably priced for a London hotel. Decent coffee available in the lobby made my day.

In terms of location, the usual PI cost benefits (although £100+) the room sizes, all fine. I'm a regular PI client, and stay with them as my default hotel right across he UK for these reasons.

On this occasion there were two main issues, mainly driven by the Easter period and the hotel being rammed full, but as a London hotel they should be used to it.

A lot of the family rooms are on the Lower Ground, right next to the Resteraunt, which opens early. As we know, our European cousins are up early, and sometimes, well before the restaurant even opens, so the noise outside your room, with big family groups walking past is ridiculous. So, try and get a room on a higher floor.

At breakfast, because of congestion, the tables were full, the empty tables had not been cleared, and we were told, by the chef, no poached eggs or any deviance from the buffet, despite the menu card offering us a poached egg option. Croissants, other pastries were also gone, and whilst were in the oven, we had to wait 20 minutes. Appreciate the hotel was full, but aren't most in London on a weekend.

Anyway, I remain loyal to PI. Their units in Wales (Cardiff and Bridgend) are fantastic, but won't go here again. Check out the one in South Wimbledon. Great staff and breakfast cooked for you.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for the review on your recent stay with us. As a regular guest to our brand of hotels, I am disappointed to read you did not have an enjoyable stay with us during Easter. I would like to recommend that if you book with us again, please call the hotel before arrival, and the team will gladly assist in locating you a room on the upper floor, away from the restaurant. We look forward to welcoming you back to our hotel!

Stayed here for 2 nights in April 13. Its very close to the Tower of London and the hotel itself is a 5 minute walk from Tower Hill station, which is on the circle line making it accessible.
Our room for 2 adults and a child was spacious and the child's bed ready made up.
We were a but concerned at booking the breakfast as at £8.95 each ( but with up to 2 kids eating free), it wasn't too bad a price but we have had poor breakfast experiences in these type if places. However, breakfast was brilliant. Chef cooking in the breakfast room, so nothing ever ran out and you could ask for veg sausages or omelettes. Full cereal and fresh fruit choice, full english choice, juices and breads. It was very good.
I found all the staff very friendly and because the weather was good, we walked to St.Paul's and Covent Garden and back. Its as pleasant 2 miles stroll and you Gert to take in some great building s along Fleet St and Ludgate Hill.
Would stay here again.

A 3 day sightseeing Break in London for myself, husband and two sons (8 and 5)

Absolutely MUST mention the Staff here. From the moment of check in they were just brilliant, everyone in the company should be sent to work with the Tower Hill Team. Going the extra mile by double checking whether our room was ready (computer said no and we were very early, but it was ready and they let us in), another member of staff quietly asked a young man to watch his language in front of our children when we were sitting in the bar (it was only about 7pm, unprompted by us and thankfully unheard by our children, but appreciated never the less). The hotel staff were also interactive with our young sons which really does make travelling with them that bit easier :).

Family rooms are very spacious and yes there are a few sirens - but you are in the middle of London! Restaurant is a bit souless with no windows on the lower ground floor, but service and food of very high standards, breakfast was plentiful and continually replenished even though we were cutting it fine one morning.

Perfectly placed for The Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Millenium Pier where there are many sight seeing tea/dinner cruises and HMS Belfast, there is a Tesco Metro two minutes away and perfectly placed for an easy walk to Tower Hill or Aldgate tube.

We bought 10 French friends to London for the weekend, only 1 spoke any English, and 8 had never been out of France before, so I chose Premier Inn because I knew exactly what to expect. We were all made to feel welcome, the staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable, the food was good, the hotel was convenient for London's attractions and all at a good price - our french friends were impressed with the value for money. I will certainly use this hotel again.

A standard premier inn. That means comfortable rooms with no many extras and at a good price. The room was big, the bed was very comfy, the shower was huge, and with a seat (lacks shampoo, though). The room doesn't look aged. The cafe has a costa coffee at reception. Less than 5 minutes walk to Tower Bridge.
