Great boutique hotel with friendly staff and well finished off rooms. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. Great location with everything you need on your door step. I definitely plan on staying again.

Room Tip: Corner suites have fantastic views.

We stayed in the skylight room which was just pretty fantastic! They have a large bath in the room and in addition a large walk in shower in the bathroom so both I and hubby were satisfied just right there! Fluffy towels always bring a smile to my face and then to snuggle into a large and comfortable bed - money well spent!
Breakfast was included and it was delicious.
We had dinner in the restaurant after some cocktails at the bar and a very pleasant experience indeed

Negatives well there arent many but I will just comment as follows:
No parking whatsover - that was frustrating as we had to park at the Wimbledon Common a good 5 minute walk away and it wasnt free :(
and lastly the restaurant menu is quite small which is not an issue for me however by the time we ordered dinner at 8pm 2 starters were no longer available and 3 mains .... so that wasnt great, but what did end up having for dinner was delicious!

We recently stayed in the brand new hotel rooms of the Dog and Fox, which has previously been a well regarded pub and restaurant in Wimbledon. Now under the Young Property group, we had originally booked at a sister hotel that required some repairs during out intended stay, and were offered the Dog and Fox. Both properties are lovely, and we chose the Dog and Fox as it is brand new.
As with all European hotels we had to climb stairs and go down a few hallways to get to our room, but that was the only inconvenience. Full English breakfast included with our rate, and was delicious and graciously served. The hotel is surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars in addition to those on premise.
We were in and out of downtown London within a half hour from the hotel via train and tube. A very nice stay, would go back.

Stayed at the Dog and Fox over the weekend. The rooms are sooooo preeettyy!! The quirkly little details like figurines of Dogs and posters on the walls- all beautifully designed. Everything in the rooms is right where it's supposed to. Bathrooms are nice and new. Very helpful and friendly staff as well. We had a problem using our coffee machine and a receptionist came to help us immediately.
The pub dowstairs is also nice: quintesentially British I'd say. The Yorkshire puddings with the Sunday roast are the biggest I have ever seen!
Great stay overall and can reccomend it!

Room Tip: We stayed in a double but hotel manager showed us the feature rooms- the skylight room is fenomenal- you can look at the stars while laying in bed- romantic!

We have just stayed in the brand new boutique hotel at the Dog & Fox in Wimbledon. It certainly has the WOW factor! The high ceilinged rooms are airy and spacious, well thought out and beautifully decorated. The bed was enormous with a fabulous light, warm quilt and really comfy pillows something I have trouble with in nearly every hotel but not this one! Everything seems to have been thought of and provided. We had Room 7 which has a fabulous bath tub in the bedroom and a separate bathroom with rainforest shower or switch to normal shower and a separate toilet. Gorgeous fluffy white towels really nice toiletries – Bliss.

The staff are lovely and so willing to please, it appears nothing is too much trouble. We thought it may be noisy as the Dog & Fox is a very popular pub but we didn’t hear anything from the pub even though they had a live band playing that night.

Breakfast was served in the restaurant area with a plentiful supply of fruit, muesli, pastries and fruit juice to help yourself to. We also had the full English breakfast which we thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend for the sausage alone. Our friends had the vegetable hash brown with poached eggs and hollandaise, it looked delicious and they said they would certainly have it again.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Wimbledon I can highly recommend this hotel it’s a real find and the pub is pretty good too!

Room Tip: All the rooms are different so look at the Dog & Fox website. We would recommend Room 7 for it's enormous amount of space and the Skylight Room for the amazing glass roof (with electric blind).
