We needed a place to crash for our office Christmas party and someone recommended the Wardonia Hotel. The rooms are small but clean and for the price you can quibble. I was also pleasantly surprised at how quite the rooms were. IF you want no frills, cheap & clean then the Wardonia is the place to stay.

Room Tip: ask for help if you cant navigate tight spaces with a bag !

We stayed three days at the hotel, wich is well conected and quiet. The room (suppose to be a doble)was barely a small (1,20) bed, with a bathroom so small that you would have to come in sidewards. No place for luggage or night table. Sataff is friendly and helpfull. However i look at it for 90 quid a night something more is definitively to be expected for. If it was any other place in the workd I would give this hotel a bad or a very bad rating. But this is London, so being clean is already something to be gratefull for, and the wardonia was indeed clean.. Our room was in a third floor no lift.

This was our first trip to Europe and London was our first destination before we left for France so location was important as we wanted a hassle free way of getting to St. Pancras station for our Eurostar connection to Paris and Wardonia was our ideal hotel as it is just a stone throw from the station.

We booked a triple bed room for 5 nights and were given a room on the ground level. As mentioned repeatedly in many of the reviews about the room being small, we were more concerned about cleanliness and for that we were not disappointed. The toilet was sparkling clean and that is no exaggeration! They were generous with the free coffee/ tea sachets too. Will definitely consider staying here again.

I love this place! I work and socialise in London a lot and the Wardonia is my haven of choice. Azem and his team are lovely, funny, welcoming and real. The hotel is warm, clean, affordable and central. Sure- some of the rooms are compact but what do you expect for central London, people? I for one applaud the creative use of space, great soundproofing and comfortable quality beds. The high ceilings also mean it never feels claustrophobic. To sleep soundly in a safe, clean, friendly, affordable hotel within sight of the St. Pancras clock is not to be sniffed at. This place is ace!

Room Tip: No lift so ask for a lower room if stairs are a problem. Breakfast not offered but the Megaro round the corner is wonderful. The Wardonia will happily store luggage all day at no cost.
