“Pajama Game - amazing! Theatre - greedy!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2014

The show the Pajama Game is brilliant. The Theatre, however, is another example of riduclously over-priced drinks and snacks. A glass of wine was in the region of £6 for a measly 175ml bottle. I know this is London, I know you'd expect to pay more, but no one wants to leave a show thinking 'that was great...but what a rip off the bar was!' I opted for an orange juice - poured OUT OF A CARTON IN FRONT OF ME - which was £2. The carton didn't even cost £2! And if they want to charge £2 they should at least give you a bottle of Britvic orange!
The inside of the building is beautiful though, lovely intricate designs - very ornate.

“Pajama Game”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2014 via mobile

Good show with a stunningly good orchestra (particularly brilliant trumpet) in a slightly down at heel theatre that could do with some major investment to improve customer comfort. The seating is uncomfortable and the auditorium overheats to a point of great discomfort. Sadly not unusual in the West End.

“Lovely theatre”

Went here to see "From here to Eternity". Lovely old theatre, though the auditorium could do with a lick of paint. Nice friendly staff, very helpful towards my mother who was in a wheelchair.

“Almost walked out”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2014

This is a truly dreadful show, it might play better to an American audience. We did not have any sympathy with a single character, I do not thing it was down to the quality of the acting. although the American accents were really awful, but to the script and content. The whole thing was trite and stereotyped. this was apparently a great novel and movie, perhaps of their time and need to be left there, In our opinion this was not worth reviving, doubtless it will go on to be a smash hit!!
