“Best Boat Show ever!”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

We'd been to the Boat Show at Earls Court many times and this was really good in comparison. Light and airy, easy to get round. As part of the centre is the Concourse with lots of seating, eating and drinking, tea coffee etc. Boat Show provided 'pass outs' so we could come a go (we even could have gone back to our hotel - Ibis Styles) Centre is a bit of a way from central London but DLR is quick and delivers you to Customs House very easily - also walking distance from the Emirates Airline cable car from south of the Thames.

“World-Class sporting venue”
Reviewed December 16, 2012

I know, I'm a few months too late in this review and it should've been done during the London Olympics at it's peak, not right after it. But hindsight is a good thing, and looking back, I still have a lot of good memories of my time there. I am from Australia and had bought tickets to a few sports (freestyle wrestling, fencing, judo, taekwondo) that are held in ExCeL, so when I got there, from using the tube (which is awesome BTW), to getting through security and actually entering the venue, finding different sports locations and watching the best athletes in the world, I felt honoured to have witnessed plenty. I was a little caught up in the Olympic fever that I didn't really take notice of the facilities, but it was great. Maybe the volunteers were the difference and not the venue itself? Anyway, the ExCeL Centre is great.

“'A Taste of Christmas' - well worth a visit”
Reviewed December 15, 2012

The centre is close to the Docklands Light Railway and the Novotel. 'A Taste of Christmas' was excellent. Great demos by top chefs, excellent stands. Plenty of places to eat, both in the event and out in the concourse. Good stewarding ket everything moving along well. Toilet facilities were good. We just could have done with a few more seats as we had to queue for a few of the events for a very long time!
