Ticket office is a shambles, with very poor signage and lazy & rude staff. Any visitors to the UK coming from an airport and needing to buy a ticket at this station may well think they've travelled back to Stalinist Moscow.

Great pub to visit whilst waiting for train. Large selection of drinks , very clean areas. Staff friendly. Lots of seating , menu looks good , we didnt eat here as we had already eaten but food being served looked delicious.
Unique toilets complete with good hand washing products & hand lotion.
So much better than the pub that used to be on the station .
Great Improvement to Kings Cross Station

I dragged my husband to Kings Cross just because I had heard about this photo op. We went at about 12:30PM on a Monday. There was a short line, but it went rather quick. There is an official photographer and assistant who do a great job. They kept everything organized and flowing. They also made sure YOU got a picture with YOUR camera before they snapped one of those souvenir ones. I would say it is worth a stop if you are in the area. It is a neat photo (I posted my pic online and all my friends and family thought it was too funny).

Can't agree more with AHBeck's review: a thoroughly brilliant place now. Only thing which could improve it is a few more seats to sit on when waiting for a train. People complaining about this station can't have spent too much time in the old one which was like a government endorsed torture centre! So much more space now; good restaurants to pass the time in. A much more pleasurable traveling experience.
