“Home away from home”
Reviewed September 20, 2012

Have been to Kingsland more than a couple of times now and the experience has been nothing less than excellent. This would be an ideal location for those wanting to catch a game @ the Wembley Stadium. Also, despite of being located at a distance from Central London - The Jubilee line takes you to Central London within 20mins. The best part is that the hotel is merely a stone throw away from the Kingsbury Tube Station. With free Wi-Fi, a great continental breakfast and lot of eateries just a min away from the hotel - this is a great hotel to be staying at. Tesco (7-11) & Aldi (8-9) and a small 24/7 general store are just across the road which makes life much more simpler.

During earlier visits, the rooms facing the main road was a concern due to traffic snarls - however, with the renovated window panes with double glasses that issue seems to be a past.

Safety has never been a concern till date with the hotel or even with the neighborhood. Despite of it being a 3 Star hotel, the hotel easily surpasses the 4 Star rating on many basic parameters.

For me, this place is simply - Home Away From Home!!!

Stayed for 1 night, when going to 2 concerts in Hyde Park. Ideally located for easy exit out of London, Kingsbury tube station only couple of minutes walk,as are bus stops. Rooms lovely & clean, bathroom quite small, but not a problem, excellent choice of continental breakfast items. Don't be put off by close proximity of road as the noise is not a problem, we slept with the windows open & were not disturbed. Front desk staff very helpful & knowledgeable, would definitely use again

Myself and my partner stayed here for one night for the Olympics. Upon arrival we were welcomed very warmly! the receptionist was very nice informing us about the continental breakfast we could have in the morning, or we were offered the option of having a cooked breakfast for free at a near by weatherspoons. Was nice to have the option of what we could have in the morning.
The room was AMAZING! Flat screen TV, beautiful sheets, unlimited free Wi-Fi and it even had a complementary 'Olympic basket' which had sweets, drinks, a toy medal and an Olympic handbook in it.
We both felt very catered for whilst staying here and will be returning in the near future! This is a wonderful hotel that I would recommend to anyone looking for high end quality at a cheaper price!

Room Tip: ask for a room round the back of the hotel. As it's located by a roundabout we got woken up a co...

I stayed here for 5 nights, room was very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast, close to the subway system and many small stores around for dinner or whatever else you wanted. Front staff was very helpful and friendly. If I go back to London I'll definately stay here again!

We stayed at this hotel for our businesstrip with 3 persons. To cut costs we took a 3 person room. It's not a bad hotel and the main beds are quite nice, The third bed was a kind of travelbed and was way to short for an adult. Ive seen rooms for three persons with three normal beds.
The breakfast wasn't bad bad but wasn't great either. It's also strange to give free wireless internet but you have a payPc in the lobby which costs 1 pound for 15min internet.
The good part is that the hotel is clean and that it's a 5 min walk from the metrostation. Also the pubs nearby are nice. Overall a good hotel, but not super.

Following on from my previous review, I stayed at this super hotel again this year for 11 nights from 14th - 25th June but booked a room at the back in order to escape the noise I experienced last year.

However, during my stay I was delighted to see men at work installing double glazing, particularly to the front windows. This is fabulous news! Now, no more requests need to be made for quiet rooms at the back.

Just thought I'd spread the word through the travel community. Congratulations must go to management for this splendid initiative and their ongoing investment in people and property. Money well spent.

Room Tip: Now with double glazing, all rooms should be good!

This hotel was very clean and the breakfast was really good. The tube was a short walk away and it took about 20 to 30mins to ride into central london. The staff was friendly. there was a tesco near by which was helpful. Overall i thought it was a great deal and exactly what i wanted.
