“The hotel was ok”
Reviewed July 4, 2012

We stayed at this hotel for our businesstrip with 3 persons. To cut costs we took a 3 person room. It's not a bad hotel and the main beds are quite nice, The third bed was a kind of travelbed and was way to short for an adult. Ive seen rooms for three persons with three normal beds.
The breakfast wasn't bad bad but wasn't great either. It's also strange to give free wireless internet but you have a payPc in the lobby which costs 1 pound for 15min internet.
The good part is that the hotel is clean and that it's a 5 min walk from the metrostation. Also the pubs nearby are nice. Overall a good hotel, but not super.

Following on from my previous review, I stayed at this super hotel again this year for 11 nights from 14th - 25th June but booked a room at the back in order to escape the noise I experienced last year.

However, during my stay I was delighted to see men at work installing double glazing, particularly to the front windows. This is fabulous news! Now, no more requests need to be made for quiet rooms at the back.

Just thought I'd spread the word through the travel community. Congratulations must go to management for this splendid initiative and their ongoing investment in people and property. Money well spent.

Room Tip: Now with double glazing, all rooms should be good!

This hotel was very clean and the breakfast was really good. The tube was a short walk away and it took about 20 to 30mins to ride into central london. The staff was friendly. there was a tesco near by which was helpful. Overall i thought it was a great deal and exactly what i wanted.

We stayed here 2 nights and were very happy with this hotel. It is close to the tube station (only 20-25 minutes ride to central London) in a bustling local community with a variety of restaurants and supermarkets all close by. Very clean room; good continental breakfast. The staff are fantastic and highly committed to customer service. We arrived nearly 4 hours before check-in time but although our room hadn't been cleaned yet, we were still able to place our bags in the room so we could get away and see the London sights. I asked for a quiet room and we were given Room 302, where we heard no traffic noise at all, though there was some noise from people in neighbouring rooms. Would definitely stay here again, this place is way cheaper than central London hotels and excellent value for money.

Room Tip: Room 302 is very quiet, no traffic noise at all (hopefully you will have quieter people staying in t...

We went to London with our little son who is 4 years old and we decided to stay here for 5 nights.
The hotel is about 100 m from the tube station, so when you want to go back to the hotel after a very tiring day, you don't have to walk an other long distance!
There are 3 supermarkets ( Tesco, aldi and iceland) very close to the hotel so if you need anything, from sandwiches, to Pampers, it is easy to get there
The rates were very good and the fact that we had to buy a zone 1-4 travel card, so to pay about 42 pound each ( not the child if under 5), was not a problem as most of the hotels in central London were much more expensive and in really bad condition!!!
We arrived earlier at the hotel, but we were allowed to go to our room as it was almost ready.
The breakfast is great, so many things and in very good quality.
The people working there are all very kind and helpful
We had a really good time there!!!

Nice bed and breakfast accommodation, decent clean rooms and helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast room and continental breakfast was good. 2 minute walk to tube station on central jubilee line. One stop to Wembley arena or 30 minutes to central London. Free parking. Checked in over 2 hours early with no problems. Busy roundabout but rear rooms are less noisy. Bathroom could do with updating and very small. Not a hotel as such as no bar or restaurant but I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are on a budget.

Room Tip: Rooms quieter at the back

This was a very friendly hotel, all the staff we dealt with were help and friendly. The room was big and comfy. We could not fault it. As some others have reviewed it was noisy from the road but ths did not detract from our 2 night stay.
