I'd like to thank the staffs for finding and returning my ipod touch. We stayed on 21 June 2010 for one night(room 210). I left it on the bedside table and the person who cleaned the room apparently handed it over to the reception. I'm absolutely delighted to get it back. Many thanks.

If you are looking for a smart, efficient, good quality hotel of excellent value in London, look no further. A wonderful no nonsence hotel, clean, comfortable, smart and with excellent well trained staff. The grill is good food at sensible prices. The free wi fi and telephone service is a bonus. The breakfast in a bag is a fun addition although breakfast in the grill is excellent. The reception and bar areas are friendly and welcoming. The place has a trendy urban feel and as a single traveller I would feel safe. very good location for the city and close to the tube. This will be our first choice in future, the quality for the price in London can not be beaten.

Just returned from our fourth stay at The Hoxton, this is a great hotel with friendly, helpful and attentive staff-the rooms and public areas are well kept and well staffed.I work in the hotel industry and know how difficult it is to maintain high constant standards.
If in London always my hotel of choice.

Positive points

Hoxton Hotel in London has the best value-quality relationship in London. Overall, if you can book a room using their special promotions: one double room per night for 1 or 29 pounds.

International staff and cool atmosphere, thay are friendly and polite. Moreover, quick check-in and check-out and free storage for suitcases.

Rooms are comfortable and well-decorated, modern furniture and usefull services, such as hairdryer.

Negative points

Although breakfast is included in the rates per night, it is quiet simple: one banana, one yoghurt and one orange juice, all fresh from Pret-a-Manger. You have also fresh milk and cafe in the room. It would be nicer to have cereals or biscuits in order to improve the quality of the breakfast.

It is not comfortable to have breakfast in the room because there are is not a propitious table.

It is expensive to have dinner in the Hoxton restaurant.

The location is not perfect, a bit far from the city center, however it is a quiet place to rest.

Returned last night from yet another perfect stay at the Hoxton - we have been staying there every time we have visited London since it first opened. Reading other recent reviews, I can only say we have NEVER received anything other than incredible hospitality from all the staff, who are genuinely friendly, enthusiastic and helpful – and we are by no means young and trendy! It’s all the little touches in the room at this spotlessly clean, smart hotel that keep us returning – soft light down duvets and pillows, extra pillows on hand, comfortable beds, crisp Egyptian cotton sheets, huge fluffy white towels, amazing shower, real Pear’s soap, filter coffee, tea, herbal teas, fresh milk, bottles of water, fridge, safe, healthy free breakfast, free Guardian newspaper, free internet access in lobby. All the things many ‘better’ (for better read ‘more expensive’) London hotels charge extras for. The location is brilliant too. Only two tube stops from King’s Cross so easy to get back to from pretty much anywhere in London. All the friends we have recommended the Hoxton to have just loved it!! Just before leaving for the train north, last night, we ate at the Hoxton Grill and what an amazing meal that was too, with the same incredible service - staff happy to hurry things along so we could catch our train. We always feel relaxed and pampered there and this morning, at home, the first thing we did was go online and book a stay in July!! Something special to look forward to…….
