I booked a garden view bedroom, but when I what I got was a noisy street view one.
there was no kettle and although I know it is just courtesy, I don't understand why this hotel is so irregular in its service.
Moreover, we forgot a expensive Northface hat when we left. We noticed it very soon, and called the hotel, but apparently, the hat was already gone.
It use to be a nice place ti stay, but I wouldn't recommend it anymore.

Stayed here booked last minute but what a great find.Room was well equipped and spacious boutique style.Mike on reception was very helpful and knowledgable of the area.Nothing seemed too much trouble.Good breakfast very nice surroundings although it was winter the gardens looked like it would be a relaxing place in the summer.
I think parking could be an issue and my room 107 was a little noisy from other guest passing by up and down the stairs and along the corridor outside.
i would happily stay here again.

2 times I have stayed this hotel, at least reasonable offer compare to London center. Rooms are clean, but sometimes beams of the roof disturb your comfort and bit narrow for long stay. Water pressure of shower is strong enough, however difficult to adjust heat. Bed mat is too soft for me. They have Japanese restaurant in same location, and offering Japanese breakfast also. All in all, nothing is dissatisfaction but also not enough reason for becoming repeater.

Definitely recommend! Booked at very short notice and wasn't sure what to expect as the price we payed for the room was under £90. Arrived at the hotel and I was really surprised by how lovely it was, friendly staff, nice modern furnishings, very clean, lovely in house japanese restaurant and bar. It was also great to find that the bathroom (with easily a 2 person shower) and bedroom were spacious and classily decorated and the toiletries were nice to use too. Also free fast wifi and complimentary coffee/water/tea, and very close to underground tube station. Couldn't believe how little we payed for this great hotel! Only downside is parking is very limited so you have to get in at the right time.

I have stayed at Hotel 55 several times over the last 5 years, and have never had a negative experience. Some of the rooms are smaller than others, but the complimentary Nespresso and bottled water are a touch that are increasingly rare to find in London these days (as are the good bathrooms supplies). The staff are wonderful and couldn't help more, and the Japanese restaurant is one of my favourites.

It's near to several tube stations to get conveniently into town, and breakfast is good. The wifi is very very fast and free. I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: If available, ask for a room at the back- Hangar Lane is a noisy road.

The hotel is situated on a busy road and only has a small car-park (max 4 cars) which posed a problem on arrival. We were told to park on the Tube Station car-park (£4/day but you'll need two tickets) at check-in which wasn't our preferred option, but there was no choice.

The hotel was clean and efficient on check-in, with our keys handed over in less than 5 minutes (we were running late, so this was very welcome). The room was clean and modern with well kept furnishings - very boutique feel to the hotel which was a great touch. The Nespresso machine in the room was a nice touch, rather than the dismal sachets of coffee found in most hotels.

The bathroom was compact and clean (the shower screen needed a good scrub), but again it was modern and well kept.

Only downside to my nights sleep was the level of road noise which remained fairly constant through the night, however the overall experience of the hotel was very pleasant.

Room Tip: The garden side may be a little quieter than the road side, but still suffers from road noise.

I stayed here last December with my partner. Lovely hotel and room and amenities. But the room made me feel rather enclosed! It was a lovely but a small room. The bed was very comfy and and the deco was nice! I loved the shampoo etc in the bathroom! Also had a sewing kit, very convenient! A minute walk away from the station, and staff were friendly! Only thing I would say is the price was slightly a bit too much for what you get, but over all, nice hotel!
