If you're looking for a nice hotel for a reasonable price, that's a good choice. The location isn't the most glamorous but it's in a good area, close the tube stations "Edgware Road", which is few stations away from the main attractions. Neither you'll find luxury, but the room is clean and tidy, although small. Breakfast is good and staff is very nice.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms facing Edgware Road, because of the noise.

Dear Bruno,

The area around us has many aspects to it. It’s famous for having a variety of cuisines and great middle-eastern food. You’ll also find beautiful places like Little Venice, Hyde Park and Lords Cricket Ground at a short minute walk from the Hotel.

We have four room types for you to choose from. The hotel rooms in Central London are comparatively smaller in size than other areas around. But we’ll make sure you get the best choice on your next visit.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us and hope we connect again in near future.
Warm regards,
Abida.

We were only in the place for half an hour at morning for breakfast and 10 mins before hitting the sack. there was nothing to whinge about apart from the pokey little room. The continental breakfast was a change from the greasy eggs bacon and sausage thing. Just 10 mins walk to the tube and its not far from Little Venice ' a little known gem of London'. There was no fussing or faffing from the staff, in fact i dont think one word was exchanged between us during the stay..Fine by me.

Dear Terry

It’s a pleasure to read that your stay went well.

Your visit was short otherwise there were so many things to explore about the location and us as well… I’m sure you would’ve found everything else pleasant if there was a little more interaction... but we’ll leave that for you next visit then…???
I very much look forward to welcoming you personally on your next visit to London.
Best regards,
Abida.

We walked from Edgeware Station along Edgeware Rd at about 8PM, dragging our luggage past some strange looking establishments. Wondered where in the world we had landed. Found a very small front entrance that purported to be the Comfort Inn. We were starting to have our doubts. We were booked for five days. But as you'll see, we found our stay enjoyable and will return.

Reception was uneventful. Took the very tiny elevator to the second floor which was an adventure in itself. Must confess that we got pretty good at operating this lift after several days of use.

Our room (206) is very small as are apparently most of the others. We had just arrived off a cruise and we believe that the room is smaller than the stateroom on the ship. But we keep reminding ourselves that this is a budget hotel in London. The bed is good, clean and comfortable. There is a small desk with a power plug for computer charging (stays on when room power is off). There is not a lot of space to lay out our two small suitcases and there is no storage space for clothing. The layout of the bathroom in this room makes access to the sink quite awkward. When approaching the sink, you have to slide yourself between the shower and the wall without bashing your arm on the towel rack. Perhaps there is a better location for this rack? Our friends in another room did not have this sink access problem.

First night was good, except the room was too hot. Cracked the window open but the noise from the street was just too much. We don't like using the air conditioning but we had to try it on the second night and what a difference. Window closed, very quiet, slept like a baby. The a/c has a remote, operable from the bedside. The rest of our nights were great. Sorry about the extra electrical cost.

Staff were good with room cleaning and refreshing the towels. Very pleasant young lady looked after the room every morning.

We thought that the Breakfast room was excellent. Lots of tables, good access to quite a variety of breakfast items, from cereals, yogurts, danishes, toast, juices, coffee/tea and fruit. The toaster works well, without a lot of fuss. There is a TV on the wall to catch up on the morning news and weather. Open time from 7AM to 10AM we felt was quite generous. The empty trays and used dishes were removed quickly. Well maintained and overall a good experience.

There is free wi-fi in the room but must comment that we found it inconvenient to have to get a new password from the front desk every 24 hours. Surely one password could be issued for a five day stay?

Carpets need replacing, particularly on the stairways.

Outside the hotel was a pleasant surprise. A block down the street is a neat area called Little Venice. There was a three day regatta the weekend we were there, with many of the narrow 40' longboats tootling up and down this section of the Regent Canal, with exhibits, contest for best boat etc.. Just a really nice area, nice housing and a decent pub tucked in on a side street. All just around the corner from the hotel.

Buses come by on Edgeware Rd seemingly every minute. Easy access to all the railways, tubes and sights in and around London. (Get yourself an Oyster Card.)

On a whim we tried the Kandoo Persian Restaurant just down the street. Food was excellent, reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We went back the next night for another great dinner. No corkage charge if you bring your own bottle of wine.

So, much to our surprise, a very interesting and enjoyable location. Good budget accommodation. We'll be back.

Room Tip: If you are larger than the average person, you may have difficulty accessing the shower (small opening) and/or the sink in this room.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for such a lovely description of the hotel, its facilities, and the service. We’re glad to know you enjoyed your stay. It looks like the first impression of the hotel wasn't that impressive. Extending the main entrance is one of our goals on the 2013 list.. We highly value our customers and their opinions. Your feedback regarding the hotel interior condition has been relayed to the management.

The Wi-Fi tickets expire in seven days. You do not need to purchase a new ticket from the reception every 24 hours. There are clear instructions on the ticket saying to log out after you’ve used the Wi-Fi, that saves the internet balance else it will continue to run.

Once again we appreciate your comments and recommendation and we’ll look forward for your next visit!
Warm regards,
Abida.

Just returned from a short break, with friends. This was lovely accomodation, rooms are clean and comfortable, continental breakfast was plentiful. Located a 10-12 minute walk from 2 underground stations on edgware road, and also lots of buses stopping outside, giving great access and connections to london. Would happily reccommend to others :-)

Spent Sunday night at the Comfort Inn on the Edgeware Road.
The hotel itself is convenienty situated for Buses and the Underground.
The No 6 which runs every 4 to 6 minutes even on the Sunday is on the doorstep and takes one up the Edware Road to marble arch, Oxford Street, Piccadilly and all the main sights within minutes. The 414 from the same stop taked a different route up parl lane and Hyde Corner, again in Minutes. The nearest tube is the Bakerloo and is approx 500 yards away.
The hotel is very accesible by public transport.
The Hotel is a good walk from the top end of Edgeware road. We just got off at Marble Arch and walked down as we had no idea where it was. We should have stayed on the bus for another 5 or six stops. The further down the road one gets the more ethnic and run down it becomes.
Breakfast is included in the price which is adequate. It is a continental breakfast but there was plenty and at the £50 we paid for a double with breakfast there is little cause for complaint.
The Hotel was clean and the bed comfortable and had a nice bathroom with shower.
The actual outside of the hotel was a bit dissapointing and the halls are dark and narrow, but for the price and just somewhere to lay the head at night it was adequate.
We arrived around 12.30 a little early for our 2pm check in but after our long walk hoped to be able to get in. Our room wasnt ready but there is a luggage room and was allowed to leave our bag whilst we had a walk for an hour. My wife didnt feel too comfortable as there are lots of cafes with people smoking their bongs and it did all seem a bit rough. We jumped on the no 6 and had an hour in Oxford Street.
All in all a good budget hotel and very easy to get to the centre of London and theatre land in no time at all. A nice touch was that in the dining area there is a machine that one can but cut price tickets to the attractions at a reduced rate from.

Dear Tony,

Thank you for a detailed review on your recent stay with us. Your comments and suggestions are very much valued.

Our commitment to investing in the property will continue in future and hopefully the actual outside will look more welcoming on your next visit. There is a lot more to Edgware road than just cafes and shisha bars. The place is known for its diversity of food traditions and also considered to be the most cosmopolitan area in entire UK.

Once again thank you for recommending our hotel. We trust we will have the opportunity to welcome you back.
Warm regards,
Abida.
