What you see is what you get. I checked TripAdvisor before I ordered this place, and a lot of the reviews were negative. This place is average but ok. It is close to Starbucks (my number one addiction) and Bayswater. We only needed a place to stay, and this was up to our standards. The pros of the place: close to the subway stop, Hyde Park and lots of nice restaurants, good beds, quiet street, the lady who worked there were nice and welcoming, ok breakfast. Cons: according to hotels.com it was supposed to be own bathrooms/toilets in the bigger room, that is not the case, the rooms were cold as f., and it was not possible to close windows in the hallway, the balcony door was always open (was not possible to close this door either), one of the showers was in very bad shape, low water pressure in the other shower (remember shower shoes, it is only two showers and all guests have to share).
If you are looking for a cheap place to stay, this is a nice place close to everything. But if you want good standards this is not the place. I would probably not go back to this place myself, but if you want to go to London on a tight budget, this is absolutely an ok place to stay.More
