“One of my favorite places”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

Really glorious old pub in the middle of London. Refreshing in a sea of corporate bars full of suits.

Feels like a country pub, with funny shaped seating and the occasional canine guest. Excellent beer selection and friendly owner.

“What a beautiful & authentic old Pub”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

Yes--it took forever to find! Wish we'd had better directions. But, the pub is very cool, super authentic and has an amazing history.

“True English Charm, Hidden in the Heart of London”
Reviewed August 9, 2013 via mobile

Hidden down a small alley is a gem of London. Such a fun pub to visit after work. Be sure to ask the staff for the story behind the pub.
Beware though, they are not always open on weekends. Space is tight but worth it for the experience.

“Charming little hidden pub”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

For the beer bores amongst you , (you know who you are) , this place belongs to the Bishopric of Ely and therefore technically is not in London. It's a Fullers pub now but that means free wifi , decent beers and food but you go here to sit and have a quiet pint and a spot of lunch. In the evenings it's packed and its not open at weekends.
