I stayed here for 2 nights with my partner to attend a concert and we're staying on a last minute rate. The hotel was lovely, incredibly clean and the staff were very polite. The hotel is within easy walking distance of a tube station and a load of attractions. Free wi-fi is available in the rooms but it can be hard to get a signal past the bathroom. (The router is obviously out somewhere in the hall.)

The only minor niggle with the whole trip is that if you aren't willing to eat in the hotel restaurant you have practically no restaurants within walking distance. If you've been walking round the sights all day the last thing you want is to have to travel to get food.

We spent a weekend in this hotel on the occasion of the final master tennis.
the best is its location next to the Cathedral of St. Paul with buses 23 and 11 from liverpool station and underground station of Saint Paul to 150 meters. We arrived at 11 am and did not give us a room up to 14 hours, poor detail. The reception staff a bit arrogant and not treated our request for room overlooking the cathedral. Otherwise the concierge staff, all very friendly and helpful.
The room was very adequate in size, with sofas and large windows. The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows.Internet access was easy and fast wifii. The bathroom was smaller, but had separate bath and shower. Unbelievable products Molton Brown toiletries. A ruling was safe, with no ability to the laptop and the room was cold and the heating was not sufficient
The hotel facilities are very modern, are magnificent pool and spa, but with too many kids on the weekend, splashing in the pool. The terrace on the seventh floor overlooking the Cathedral and the City skyline was amazing.
We dined in the hotel, bar was very slow in serving the food, about 45 minutes. But the food was delicious and had a good atmosphere .Again it was cold and had even mobile heaters as those used at home. Something unusual for a five-star
The breakfast was fantastic, with many options to choose from, both hot and cold. The girls who attended and served the coffee was very nice, especially "Sandra".
In short, a hotel with five star facilities but four-star service at reception and bar. Should improve these aspects, the five star hotels are distinguished by the service.

Excellent hotel, rooms and bathroom very high standard. Also, room service was excellent value for money. Free Wifi and morning paper.
We stayed there with my fiance, couldnt wish for better. We even got free room upgrade, because we were cheking in quite late.. Very good night sleep, totally dark room and not a single voice. Will definitely stay there again.

We booked this hotel with a last minute deal at a good price and were very pleasantly surprised. This is a modern and very clean hotel in a great location. The beds and room were very comfortable with a good range of toiletries etc. And an air conditioning unit that actually worked really well (usually hard to find in a hotel in London). The location is practically opposite St Pauls with an underground station nearby and plenty of buses going to the west end.

Breakfast was disappointing. The sausages may have passed the grill but they certainly hadn't spent much time underneath it. I'm sure a good vet could have brought them back to life! Same can't be said about the boiled eggs which had clearly spent too much time in the cooking process making them entirely unedible. At £23 a head for the buffet, I would have expected better.

I tagged along on my husband's business trip and worked from the hotel. The location is very accessible to the London Stock Exchange as well as being next to St Paul's. Because of the weekday business vibe, we found that some of the area restaurants closed on the weekend, but there were still some open options. We also found the location convienent for using the Big Bus Tours... St Paul's being a stop. We used the tour ticket (good for 24hrs) to get around the city, and really enjoyed the tour as it was a great way to see a lot of the city (and then you could go back to the places you wanted to spend more time).

The hotel itself is nice, clean(!) and modern. The main lifts are slow, but the bellman showed us another elevator to use during our stay (near the stairs). The room was quite comfortable and the wi-fi worked most of the time. The shower doors didn't seem to retain the water, but the multiple shower head options were quite nice. I also loved the deep (and sparkling clean!) bath, which I used on a number of occasions.

I did find the mornings to be a bit loud when people where leaving their rooms... you could hear all the room doors slamming. Nothing too intrusive, but would've been nice to have thinker/sound proof doors. Definitely note that you need to keep your room key in the slot next to the door in order to keep the lights on.

Overall, I found the hotel to be quite nice and would stay again, but for the price I might be tempted to find a better deal.

My daughter and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights over a weekend and we couldn't have asked for more - it was a wonderful stay. The hotel is luxurious, the staff are friendly and helpful, room service is spot on and the rooms themselves are fresh and tastefully decorated. We had a twin room; a nice size with a small sofa and armchair. Large picture window overlooking the street and an office block. It was quiet and relaxing, the air conditioning did hum gently but this did not disturb us. There were bath robes and slippers for us, tea and coffee plus biscuits and a chocolate each. The bathroom was sleek and trendy - with small bottles of Molton Brown products - 2 of shower gel, 1 body lotion and a shampoo and conditioner along with a bar of soap and shower cap. The towels were white and fluffy, the shower had 4 heads so water from all directions. The breakfast was tasty - although I did hear some complaints about the cooked breakfast. We found everything lovely. St Pauls tube is a few minutes walk away and the Millenium bridge the same distance in the other direction. there are plenty of places to eat nearby and we didn't feel at all threatened walking around at night. There is also a lovely pool and spa and cherry wood dressing rooms, great!
