Really like this hotel. Very central, perfect for the city or a fab location to escape the west and explore London...hotel has everything I need and wonderful surroundings. Rooms spacious and clean. Bathroom well stocked and sumptuous. Only gripe....get proper coffee in rooms....
Staff are exceptionally well trained and cheerful, nothing is too much trouble. Deserved of its ratings.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for one night whilst I was in London for a business meeting. It is very large but this doesn't matter as it is such a beautiful, modern hotel. Our room was spacious and clean and looked out over the atrium in the centre of the hotel. There are several bars/restaurants and reception service is efficient and staff friendly. Breakfast is served in the atrium and there was a good selection of food and plenty of it.
One tip - at the end of the evening pop up to the top floor to the private function room. If there is nothing going on then go through the patio doors to the roof top balcony. The view of St Paul's dome in all it's floodlit glory is stunning. It is also worth returning to the balcony in the daylight to enjoy the view towards Shakespeare's Globe theatre and the Tate Modern.
If you have time to explore then cross the Millennium Bridge and walk along the South Bank.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

This hotel ticks all the boxes, good well equipped rooms, spotlessly clean bathroom, great separate power shower. Robes, tea/coffee/newspapers etc sofa, swivel chair etc etc. very good business centre. Also has pool and spa but i didnt use those. Brealfast was buffet style but great fresh choices. Coffee a little disappointing but i am fussy on that one!

We didn't end up spending much time in the hotel as there's so much to do in London and it was just a one-night stay, but it was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The lobby decoration is a little gaudy for my tastes (massive streaming light column and Princess Diana's convertible on display..!) but the rooms are less flashy, and very comfortable, with good size beds and well designed bathrooms. Best of all - very little traffic noise. Not even the bells of St Paul's Cathedral were intrusive (though it seems only the grave itself will block the noise of d*mn helicopters).

Only tiny niggles - no slippers with the bathrobes, no English Breakfast tea in the caddy (though plenty of Earl Grey and fruity stuff) and check-in took a while. Sure most of it could have been resolved easily if we'd been bothered enough to mention it, though. I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful 2 night stay for our Wedding Anniversary. Gorgeous room and very helpful staff.
Lovely spa. I use The Grange chain of hotels a lot and always find them to be of an excellent standard. We will definitely use again.

Just stayed at The Grange this weekend and was very disappointed with my stay.

Whilst the hotel is 5 star in terms of services provided, it is nearer a 2 star service received. Whilst trying to check in, I was told that someone would show me to my room shortly and to wait on the side. I waited for around 10mins before I approached the desk to go to another member of staff who then checked me in without a problem. The first member of staff had forgotton about me.

To reiterate the point a couple of people have made, I was escorted out of the hotel and down the road to another block of flats. The rooms are as nice as the main hotel, but there is nothing to recognise that you are part of the hotel. Room service would be an impossibility. I did go back to ask if we could move back in the hotel so as to make it easier to use the facilities and the manager did cater for this which we appreciate.

Overall, the facilities, location and rooms are nice. Not quite 5 star, but nice for a weekend away. The service is closer to 2 star, with disinterested staff members. That is apart from the concierge, who were very friendly and accomodating.

Great friendly staff can't do enough to help, the Spa looks amazing although we didn't get to use it and the beds are comfy. This was affordable also, I did a Secret stay through last minute and was really really pleased! I would definitely stay again.
