I grew up around here as a child.
I remember when the adventure playground was there as me and my brother would spend hours there.
There are dinosaur statues there should children want to see them.
There is also a maze to explore.

I stumbled on the dino-walk on the internet and couldn't believe my eyes. These antique statues are the earliest representations of dinosaurs in the UK and they are splendidly presented at the Crystal Palace Park. So I had to go and see the and wasn't disappointed. Traveling by train to Crystal Palace station is easy, but you have to make sure you get the train that terminates at Crystal Palace, or you'd have to change at Sydenham and wait for it. The other trains never stop at the park.
The park has several attractions, not only the dino's, but also a maze, an orangery and a sports centre. The café was temporarily closed for renovation but public toilets are open and the railway station has a nice café. Great for a family day out.

I came here without knowing about the area with the dinosaurs, kind of cool idea! Especially if you're wondering how it would feel to be near one.
Anyway all the green space and the long walk around is really enjoyable. You will find a maze, 2 small lakes and a small closed area for kids.
High recommend also if you have a dog.
