We just saw the sign and thought that it would be worth a try. It was. The wine is OK and the atmosphere convivial. It has atmosphere as well. It’s well worth a try.

This bar and restaurant is in an absolutely fascinating location in a rail arch very close to Southwartk Underground Station - head down Blackfriars Road and you will see it signposted, or can approach from Union Street. The building itself is an attraction and when there you feel that you are experiencing something 'different'. It blends the 'old' rail arch exterior with a modern and vibrant interior. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a south bank experience a bit different from other traditional pubs.

Relaxed atmosphere in very pleasant surroundings. Staff were very professional. Excellent food and service. The manager very knowledgeable about the wines he stocked in his vast collection. A must for a stop-off drink and light lunch

Relaxed atmosphere, arrived about 12.30 with group of fiends. Greeted by manager/owner v friendly. Good selection of wines and beer.

Varied menu, we had a couple of sharing platters between us, good vfm and delicious.

This will become a regular place, suitable for groups of couples

Discovered this great wine bar, under the railway arches. It was very early, just after 1200, when we popped in for a quick glass of wine before meeting friends elsewhere. Amazing selection of wines, lovely decor, helpful staff. Will certainly return to try out the food next time!
