It would have been a good Hilton standard experience but we got a free upgrade to a Queen suite for a deal on a double! Wow!!!

It was an amazing experience! What can I say...great comfortable bed, tasteful decor and after that upgrade I will say best staff and service I have encountered in ages!

Excellent breakfast the next morning.

It was a 5* experience that has left me a Hilton fan. Will be back there once I get a good excuse.

We stayed here for one night only, after a visit to the Anniversary Games at the Olympic Stadium. Didn't quite know what to expect staying in the business district at the weekend - but it was first class. We had a little difficulty locating the building after exiting the tube at Canary Wharf, but a bit of searching and we were there. Check in was friendly and efficient. We were given a fantastic room on the executive floor, and as there was a summer thunder storm outside we spent a very pleasant evening in the hotel. Breakfast was good and plentiful, and we were well look after throughout. Wish we had had longer to stay but our time was very enjoyable and we were well looked after thoughout. This will certainly be the hotel top of my list for any future stay in London, whether for business or pleasure - very easy to access via the tube or DLR Well done everyone at the Hilton.

The room prices have kept me away from this marvellous hotel until yesterday. They have reasonable Hhonors point+cash offers, so I took advantage of them and booked four stays.

If working at Canary Wharf, the location is very convenient. Getting to central London and back (during the tube running hours) is also a snap.

Check in was friendly and an apology was made for not being upgraded (Hhonors Diamond member). However the regular room at 3rd floor was perfectly adequate and spacey for a London hotel.

The exec lounge at 14th floor had an abundant supply of nibbles, as well as two warm dishes, not to mention good selection of drinks. The lounge staff was very helpful and also conversational. After 6 PM, there were just a few lounge guests. Hilton Tower Bridge has similar quality of offerings, but is smaller.

The room amenities were fine including the minibar, with reasonably priced wine selection. A positive comment about the lobby bar is for the black beer they had in tap. Not many London Hiltons or Doubletrees offer it. DLR-noises could be heard, but did not disturb my sleep. My room was facing the opposite direction, it might be worse in the rooms facing the rails.

Checking out was convenient and efficient as well. Next time, they would do the best upgrade possible, was promised. Looking forward to that!

Room Tip: High floor!

We booked this hotel as part of a last minute deal on hotwire.com. When we arrived the staff greeted us warmly and because there were no more rooms available of the type we had booked he gave us a free upgrade to a more expensive variety of room. Very pleasant indeed! The room was extremely comfortable, extremely clean and extremely spacious, with very comfy beds and more than adequate bathroom. Absolutely no noise disturbance. The restaurant serves breakfast which is a heavy £12 each for continental and £21 each for full English but nonetheless tasty, but there is a food court nearby with a couple of small eateries if you want to save some money.
Location could not be better as the place is right next to the DLR station at South Quay with trains running to Bank (for London city centre) and historic Greenwich in about 15 minutes, and the hotel is only a short walk from the Jubilee line station at Canary Wharf and the restaurants around there.

Overall this place is top notch for anyone visiting London for business or leisure, and is very much recommended - we shall be coming back!

Room Tip: If booking a deluxe room, ask for room 911 - very very spacious, very comfortable, nice(ish) view an...

This is a little better than the usual Hilton 4 star and the location for getting in and out of Central London on the conveniently located Canary Wharf Underground is good.
HiltonHonours member so a had a King size Double room that was very comfortable and quiet. Didin't eat in the Hotel other than Breakfast which was excelent and served up until a very civilized 11.00am. Parking was £20 a night that is far more reasonable than central London prices even when you add on the cost of a Travel card at £7.50. Staff were efficient and friendly and there is an excellent Indian restaurant just opposite "The Bengali Quay" which was very reasonably priced and served excellent food if you have had enough tramping around for one day and don't feel like going too far.

I went for a birthday weekend with my daughter and we had an excellent stay! Our room was upgraded which included the Executive Suite, the staff were friendly and helpful from the second we entered the hotel. It was my 50th birthday and the hotel went to the effort of arranging to have a personally hand-written card with more than just a generic message written on it plus chocolate gateau cake with happy birthday written in chocolate on the plate. THAT was a lovely welcome to the hotel. Our stay included breakfast which was excellent along with the service. Great location in that it is accessible to Canary Wharf tube, DLR, a few restaurants & cafes along the river eg Cafe Rouge, etc. And Tesco Metro a stones throw away if the mini-bar proves too expensive! It is a pity it lacks spa & pool facilities - that was the only downside for us but it does have a 24 hr gym, steam-room & sauna with great equipment and everything you could need in there. I can't wait to stay there again and I would highly recommend to others. Thanks you Hilton for a lovely 50th birthday! I went into a new decade with a big smile on my face.

I stayed here just recently. It is a good Hilton with large sized rooms. Normal Hilton amenities and got upgraded to the Exec Floor. exec lounge is open longer than some others and is open for free drinks from 1800 to 2100. The food was not great but was plentiful.

Did not get up in time for breakfast so cannot comment on this.

Overall a good Hilton and the rates were reasonable and the service good.

I would stay again.
