Nice ,modern hotel near to the Tower tube station and Tower Bridge. Professional staff & friendly ambience. Comfortable rooms with seperate shower, WiFi and water free of charge.
Good gym. Next tube station ( Tower Hill) and bus stop is only a five minute walk away. the hotel bar is well sorted but less other bars in walking distance.

I went to London with my grandmother. She has some reduced mobility and I had to find a hotel with relatively large room, comfortable beds and safe bathroom (with a shower apart from the bathtube).
Apex city of London complied with all these requirements!!
The room is incredibly good!! Very new, well equiped, comfortable.
The hotel is very well located....3 minutes walk from subway station and 4 minutes from the turistics points.
My only "complain" about the hotel was breakfast. Its a little expensive for what it offers.
Staff is very polite!

My wife and I have stayed here several times and we both really like it. You can always tell a good hotel from a bad one by the toiletries they put in the bathroom. In th Apex it is Elemis. The rooms are really comfortable, clean and well equiped. Breakfast was a large bowl of porridge, toast and tea. All served quickly and tasting delicious. Cost for both was c.£25. Location is good with Tower Hill tube just a short walk away. If you walk under the road going over Tower Bridge on the north side, turn left and you will come to St Katherine Docks where there is a big marina full of massive yatchs etc. A lovely place to sit and drink coffee. Cross Tower Bridge and walk along the south bank where there are loads of lovely places to see, eat, drink, shop etc, This is not the cheapest hotel in London, but it is worth every penny. Enjoy...

Room Tip: If you choose the cheapest room on offer, there is a chance you will be in the basement with no wind...

We stayed here last weekend. I had booked the hotel on a cheap deal, and had to ask for a second room. The hotel booking person suggested a sofa bed at no extra cost which they were happy to provide free of charge. When we arrived, check in was speedy, friendly and professional. The sofa bed was ready made up with the same quality bedding as on the main bed. They had also put 3 of everything in the room. The room itself was plenty big enough. The fixtures and fittings of high quality and the cleanliness was exceptional. We loved the Bose sound system and the fact that it could be piped into the bathroom! We also ate in the hotel - again, excellent service, good food and ambience. The hotel is in a great location just behind the Tower of London, yet quiet and calm. We highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Stayed two nights at the Apex last weekend. Fabulous room in the new wing - huge room (with complimentary upgrade), the bathroom was the size of my lounge! And, I guess everything is new as the wing is new. Really nice furnishing, simple, elemis toiletries and a rubber duck.

Got it on offer (about £100 a night) and totally worth it.

Word of warning - if you don't know London, you'll need to use the tube for this hotel - not really walkable to most of the sights, though literally 3 minutes from tower of london and tower bridge. Don't let the location put you off - nice part of town and worth the money,

Would definitely stay again,

Oh and the staff were super helpful and friendly. And the breakfast was brilliant!

We booked the Apex Hotel, Seething Lane, via Hotwire, at the last minute to take advantage of the sunny weather, and because we had a Travelzoo voucher for the City Cruise Hop on Hop off river boats - > one place to embark is Tower Pier, right next door to the hotel. This hotel was an unexpectedly good find. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. A very comfortable, clean and well equipped room, with a large (firm) king-sized bed, a lovely walk in shower AND a bath; the towels were particularly soft and fluffy, and Elemis toiletries were provided. The room was extremely quiet - we did not hear any noise at all, from outside or from inside, and the hotel is ideally located for the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Monument, St Paul's and countless other interesting sites. We ate our breakfast at Pret a Manger, very near by, as breakfast was not included in our room rate - but there is a nice looking restaurant at the front of the hotel, with tables out on the pavement and it looked like breakfast was served here, as well as dinner and lunch - and then we walked over to Tower Pier, less than 5 minutes, for our boat trip. The evening we arrived we walked over Tower Bridge and ate at one of the restaurants in Butlers Wharf. There are gorgeous views back to the Tower and the Bridge and it was very relaxing - after our train journey - to stroll along the river and watch the world go by. I would recommend this hotel most highly, it was relaxed, professional and it was a great base for our weekend, and we will certainly return when we visit London again.

Room Tip: ask for a room at the back, with a window (some rooms only have skylights).
