I have visit London more than 10 times but it was my First visit to this great Premier inn hotel in Wimbledon South, London in December 2012. I think It's the best choice if you go by car to London. Because there is a safe and low priced parking @ the hotel only 6 poun for 24 hours. With good acces to the motorway, and only 5 minutes walking distance to Colliers Wood tube/metro station with very good acces to all the touristic things in London. The hotel reception was clean and not long waiting to checkinn with friendly people working here. The rooms are big and very clean and nicely decorated with a flat screen tv and a big bathroom with enough towels. The price/quality is very good. The breakfast is not included in the price, but it is very good with a nice buffet. It was a nice stay.

Room Tip: Visit the website from premier inn to find some nice offers

I have stayed at this Premier Inn on a number of occasions before and found it good value for money - the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, receptionists welcoming and helpful and it is genuinely quiet - despite facing a very busy main road. On this occasion, however, the evening meal with members of my family was spoiled by two factors: first, there was a party taking place in the restaurant so that half the restaurant was 'closed off' - not a big problem in itself, but they had brought a sound- system with them which was cranked up to a level that made conversation for others in the restaurant nigh-on impossible. Hotel staff seemed unwilling to do anything about this. The restaurant was understaffed to cope with these circumstances; consequently, it took nearly two hours for our meal to be served and to add insult to injury, the 'sirloin steak' I'd ordered turned into one of the toughest chewing assignments ever!
I hope not to have to encounter either loud party or tough steak next time I stay there!

Room Tip: Check television and kettle as soon as you check into your room - neither of these was working this...

Room was great - lots of space. Very warm when we arrived but was soon able to sort that with the heating controls which were very easy to use. Clean and comfortable - the over the bath shower was an little cramped but still a good shower. Breakfast absolutely delicious and piping hot - Premier Inn breakfasts are generally good but here it was exceptional. Service was great too. Our tv remote didn't work so we informed reception when we went out - by the time we came back it was sorted and our room had been refreshed again too. One small problem was room noise - we were on the 5th floor and were woken very early one morning by lots of activity on the floor above. Following a phone call to reception the noise ended immediately and we had no more noise for the rest of the weekend.

Room Tip: My 5th floor room seemed to be below a working area for the hotel - I would choose a room on the flo...

Booked last minute stay less than 24 hours before arriving. (During the 2012 Olympics) Arrived at the hotel to a spotless room and a 4 min walk to nearest tube, great kebabs 2min away and Ben and Jerry's in the vending machine. Awesome. Equal distance from family in Guildford and sightseeing in London. Would def stay there again,

We met my daughter and family at the hotel who had just arrived from Australia that morning. The staff made her room available earlier so that they could rest after their long journey which I felt was extra helpful. The rooms we had were next door to each other and very comfortable and clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We did not have evening dinner in the restaurant but we did have breakfast, this was plentiful and good value for money especially as under 16yrs ate free.
The only downside is that parking is only permit free between 5pm and 9am after which you can obtain another two hours free parking by getting a ticket from the car park machine but if you forget then you could get a parking fine. I would recommend this hotel for a short London stay because it has good links to underground and mainline trains into London and buses outside for Wimbledon etc.

If visiting for the first time and travelling on the underground you need the northern line and depart at Colliers wood, look for Sainsbury's and walk through the car park at the back and through a tunnel which is well lit and you will spot the hotel, which give a very warm welcome on arrival, Breakfast is cheaper at Sainsbury's if you want to take a 5 min walk but cafe not open till 11 on a sunday, easy reach of Oxford st about 25mins away but note that the shops don't open until 11.30am on sunday,Virgin Active next door, i am a member and they gave me a warm welcome with no hassle,Overall my son and i had a great stay and would recommend this hotel
