We stayed there twice - February and April 2013 and found it to be well located.

The hotel is not too hot and airless which makes a change and we managed to get the same room again served by good quality lift system from reception.

There is no safe in the rooms but there is a safe at reception and that worked quite well although I find the ease of a room safe much more handy and very much more speedy.

The breakfast was too repetitive and I would ask management to think about a cycle as I got fed up with just scrambled eggs when for example a boile dor fried egg would have been welcome.

The dining are is spacious and offers goo FREE Wifi and there are also LCD TV to catch up on the news too.

There is a bar that was not too expensive but NOT GOOD that it closed at 11pm even for guests!

Just up the road are many pubs , restaurants and even a Tesco's so you can get most things so easily.

The rooms are good and have air-con but we found the beds a bit too soft and spongy but thats perhaps a personal thing.

Bathroom was well equipped and shampoo is supplied in the shower. A nice touch is that reception will provide toiletries free of charge if you have forgotten say a razor!

Staff were very friendly and they all tried very hard to satisfy our requests and with a smail too - makes a pleasant change.

We are finding this group of hotels very good quality and value and will use again.

One small point that might help. If you are flying into London say from Gatwick, which is what we did, you can get an Easybus to Lille Road, and walk only 400 meters to the hotel and the bus was only about £5 each person but you must book in advance.

So in summary, good location, good staff, not too hot or stuffy, breakfast - could do better if you are there more than one night and very easy connections with trains and buses.

Oh, do not forget the market down the street on the way to Fulham. So well positioned for most needs!

Dear AlanCyprus,

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review about your stay here with us here at the Holiday Inn Express London - Earls Court Hotel.

I am so pleased that you found the location and the service to be really satisfactory. I am sorry you found the breakfast a little repetitive and slightly boring. This is due in part to the Hotel and Brand Standards we want everyone to experience the full range of breakfast that we are allowed to serve. However it a good comment and we will certainly remember to pass it on when the breakfast standards are reviewed.

We all here do hope that you choose to visit with us again soon upon your next visit to London.

Kind Regards

Image just arrived and my first impresses are rather negative. Situated right by a busy road, I can hear the street noise. I had to wait a long time to be checked in and was "forced" to enrol onto their loyalty programme. The Internet access is expensive at £15 for 24h with no flexible options. The room is extremely basic and quite dark in my opinion.

Spent two nights here over May Day weekend for a theatre trip. Hotel is not in the very centre of things but is only about three stops on the tube from the centre. Hotel must have had a very recent refit because the rooms were ver modern and spotlessly clean. Staff were happy and smiling. The car park looked handy and spacious but I believe it is rather expensive.
West Kensington tube is about 7mins walk up the main road towards the A4.
Morning breakfast was good. Plenty of choice with a variety of juices, hot drinks, croissants, breads and cheeses as well as hot sausages, beans and scrambled eggs.
All in all a very convenient, reasonably priced and spotlessly clean hotel. A good choice and well probably return.

My friend and I decided to indulge ourselves to a spontaneous night's stay at a hotel in London and we were fortunate enough to have come across the Holiday Inn express in Earl's Court. The staff were all very helpful and the manager, Dale Malan, made sure to see to our every need. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for an affordable yet 5 star experience. I will be returning soon!

In most ways this is a fine hotel. More's the pity, then, that they built it from tissue paper.

If you have even average hearing, any noise, anywhere on your floor and at least the two adjoining floors, will be plainly audible in your room. People in the hall, doors closing, toilet seats being slammed down; you'll hear every sound.

If that doesn't bother you, if e.g. you're the kind of person who can drop off in the middle of a construction site, then you should find this hotel more than adequate. The location is decent for a non-central neighborhood, staff are friendly and helpful, everything is fairly new, rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is very nice.

If, however, you ever experience difficulty falling asleep and find intrusive noises are a problem, don't stay here unless, perhaps, you're also a night owl. Because you won't get much sleep until after everyone else in the hotel has settled in for the night.

Room Tip: Being located right beside where two hallways intersect, and just a few steps from the elevator, doe...

If you're looking for a first class hotel in an exclusive area then you may well be disappointed, however if you want a comfortable room in an interesting and more down to earth area then this is more than suitable. My son and I enjoyed the fact that this was away from central London which allowed us to effortlessly walk to Fulham Broadway searching out shops and eateries along the way. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable, breakfast simple yet ample and the internet access more than adequate. We enjoyed our stay and given the choice would stay again.

Room Tip: The center rooms on the top floor (509) was somewhat noisy.

I visited London with my sister and stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. We had such a warm stay at this hotel. The staff were very warm and helpful. We had a problem during check in because our travel agent had not paid the hotel fee. We had travelled many hours from South Africa and were absolutely exausted. The hotel staff were very helful. We were greeted by a gentleman who wore a South African falg pin on his jacket. He was exceptionally good at calming us down and resolving the issue. The hotel is located close to West Kensington underground station. We had a fantastic stay for the price. The breakfast is standard but great for the price. Thanks a lot.
