2 night break with my daughter during half term. Would normally stay at a larger chain hotel but decided to try a smaller B&B for a change to help the pennies. We were given room 2 which is a triple with a futon. Very large room, 2 big windows overlooking Gower St (no big noise issue) lots of storage and wardrobe hangers (very important), comfy beds with extra bedding available, big TV, tea/coffee making facilities, powerful hairdryer (also very important), hot shower. Breakfast was just right for me, cooked breakfast cooked to order with toast, plus cereal, fruit bowl, tea, coffee, juice, water etc. All very clean and very well looked after. I would recommend this place for a mini break in Bloomsbury.

Room Tip: Room 2 is spacious

Overnight weekend stop-over - 10-15 min walk from Euston. Three adults shared with en-suite. Good room size at the rear of property - quiet on a Sat night!! Clean room and bathroom with towels supplied, room warm, good night's sleep, tea/coffee making facilities in room, breakfast very nice. Staff friendly - thoroughly enjoyed the short time spent there. For a London hotel - good value for money and a great location.

Room Tip: Rear of property - presume these rooms face a quieter street.

We stayed in the Quint en-suite guest room for two nights in early December 2012. The room was on the ground floor which was great as we had multiple heavy suitcases. The room was extremely cosy for five people, but given the price we paid versus the location; I thought it was very good value. The en-suite is very small, but has everything you need. The breakfast was served downstairs in a small dining room and was included in the price of the room. The breakfast was a typical English breakfast and was delicious. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and very helpful.

My family consists of two adults and three teenagers (13, 15 and 16). We didn't want the expense of a second room so found our options in London to be very limited. The Jesmond Hotel was basic, good value, friendly, and exceptionally well located accommodation. We would definitely stay at the Jesmond again.

We were greeted by a friendly lady who made us feel welcome.

It is a lovely building and the whole place is niece and warm.

The room was a decent size, we had a twin with shared loo. The shared facilites were clean.

Good value accommodation in central London.

The breakfast was also nice.

I would stay again.

Thanks.

We have been to London many times, but once we found the Jesmond, we have not stayed any where else. We have been there 6 times for a week or more and have never been disappointed. What the hotel lacks in "big hotel amenities", it compensates with value. It is a clean hotel, with experienced, pleasant, and helpful owners and staff. The breakfasts are good and cooked to order. The location has a neighborhood feeling with easy access to buses and tube stations. Many of London's highlights are within walking distance. We always look forward to a return.

This B&B is very well located near the British Museum and UCL. The morning staff were very friendly and helpful. The cook is very nice and makes a great English breakfast to your liking. There is a small variety of fresh fruits and juices that you can help yourself to.

If you have heavy lugguage stay on the main level as there are 2 full flights of steps to the next level of rooms. If you stay on the 1st level the shared bathroom facilities are up another flight of stairs. The shower room is extremely small for even for an average or petite sized person. I would advise against checking in during the evening as the staff member on is not helpful he seems usually to be preoccupied with watching tv rather than greeting a guest.

Ask for a room towards the back, rooms facing the street are very noisy + beds are very soft and uncomfortable.

Ive stayed in the jesmond 3 times now due to its perfect location and value for money. I know by staying there i can get a great nights sleep and a cracking freshly cooked breakfast. The rooms are perhaps not the latest in style and design but are clean and comfortable with tea and coffe making and a tv. Ive not tried the front of the hotel but the back is plesantly quite for the middle of a big city. The breakfast lounge also has a tv and i was plesantly surprised to see the latest windows8 pc with large screen available for guests to use the internet for free. I also connected my iphone to their free wifi in my room with no problems. The jesmond is a family run hotel not part of a big chain, making it feel much more personal and the managment will go out of their way to help you. I will definetly stay there again
