“Magic”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

I am a Londoner and have been to every production the Open Air Theatre has put on in the last three years. It is the most creative and magical theatre in London. A Midsummer's Night's Dream is one of the best Shakesperian productions I have ever seen (and I have seen a lot...). This is a theatre company at the top of its game.

“Enchanting”
Reviewed August 20, 2012

The Open Air Theatre has to be my favourite place in London! The production of Midsummer's Night Dream was visually stunning and the contemporary interpretation was outstanding. The young cast were energetic and captivating. The only blemish, and it's a small one, would be the slightly weaker performances of the older cast members, particularly the chaps who played Egeus (Hermia's father - he fumbled a line or two and was unconvincing) and Theseus - who chose to spit his lines rather than give them the eloquence they deserved. For anyone who hasn't been to the Open Air Theatre - it is a must and none of the productions I've been to have disappointed. I'm still feeling uplifted today from the performance on Sat 18th Aug!

“Midsummer Nights Dream - Truly Magical”
Reviewed August 19, 2012

My husband and I went to see Midsummer Nights dream last night at the Regents Park open air Theatre, I have been to the theatre before but this was my husbands first time at the theatre and his first experience of a Shakespeare play. What a wonderful evening, visually stunning, a great, entertaining and funny cast. The Actress who played Helena stole the show. A great night for anyone 12+

“A magical place”
Reviewed August 10, 2012

I've been to the open air theatre every year for the last 5 years to watch various shows including Romeo & Juliet, Midsummer night's dream.

As you walk through from Regent's park into the small doorway the whole place opens up into a picnic and seating area with a bar that's integrated into it's surroundings. At night there are fairy lights everywhere lending a magical feel to your surroundings. Once your seated in an open air amphitheatre which isn't very big you really feel like you are at one with the show as you are so close even if you are in the furthest seats away it's not very far

The trees russle as you watch your performance and drink is allowed within

I always really enjoy my time here
