Description: Oozing ultra-sleek Scandinavian chic, Sticks'n'Sushi brings an exciting fusion concept to Covent Garden. With the original Sticks'n'Sushi site in Copenhagen, this cutting-edge concept combines the best in Japanese and Nordic dining, with a typically slick dining room featuring suspended art pieces, clean angles and a stony grey colour palette. As its name suggests, the Sticks'n'Sushi menu features a mix of freshly-crafted sushi and sizzling yakitori sticks - loaded with chicken, red meat and vegetables - served straight from the grill.

I went to Sticks 'n' Sushi on friday night after work for dinner with friends. Upon arrival, one of our friends dropped out and the staff were flexible enough to move us to a smaller table upon request once we made them aware of the change in number of diners.

Whilst waiting, we sampled some delicious cocktails and the staff were very friendly. The menu was varied and we re-ordered some items because they were so tasty! The whole table enjoyed their food and it's a great place to come and share your food and sample lots of flavours. The background music was upbeat but not too intrusive, which was great too.

I would definitely recommend this venue and I will be returning.

The sushi is amazing Ebi Bites are yum and the Black Cod dragon roll yummy. The place is very relaxed, was sat for three or four hours chatting away, was pretty busy. Staff are very friendly and helpful, not too helpful I still cant use the chop sticks lool. Definitely recommend.

Im sitting at the table right now. Great food. Have been served by multiple staff who dont listen to you when you express that you can refill your own wine glass. Ive also had them take serviettes and chop stick wrappers out from beneath my hands mid eat. I just picked up the last bit of sushi from a plate and they whisked it away with all my wasabi before it had even gone too my mouth.
The one armed chairs are poorely arranged against the wall tables, trapping every other guest in their seat whilst the tables with space either side of them have got mirrored chairs. I could go on. But id rather just get out of here. The night held so much promise. Sigh.

We booked in for a family birthday party of 8 and were advised to take the table at the front as it was 'more convivial'. In the event it was so noisy you simply could not have a conversation around the large table apart from (with difficulty) with the person directly next to you. It wasn't helped by a very loud, raucous party indeed at the next table, so we really wish we had been advised to book the (apparently) quieter table at the back. The staff were friendly, though our drinks order did not materialise until we prompted 3 times, and in fact only half our group were actually asked what they wanted. But the food was wonderful when it arrived - huge platters of yumminess and interesting combinations. Sadly not enough of each item for our group of 8 which was a shame, but we ordered more. The veggie platter went down well. Overall, we liked the food and they spontaneously brought a celebratory dessert for the birthday people, but we had not had the chatty celebratory event we wanted and all left feeling exhausted and stressed by the noise. Overall, no complaints at all about the quality of the food, but the wine was not great and the atmosphere was just too frantic and deafening for us to fully enjoy our evening. Sorry! We really did want to love it, but we just couldn't talk to each other which had been the whole point of a very rare family treat.........:(

Heard loads of good things about this restaurant, me and my boyfriend finally came here for dinner, and we were not disappointed. Environment was very relaxing, more of a Western style with a little Japanese touch with the dark wood and pebbles as chopstick rest. Service was excellent. One waiter was very patiently explaining some cocktails to us and all of them were always smiley and will explain everything in your dish.

We ordered the Hotate Kataifi Bites which are scollops as starter, SUPER DELICIOUS!!! A sharing main course Upgrade which contains a variety of sushi, rolls and skewers. Each item on the menu is illustrated and the food look exactly the same as they are in the photos. Large variety of sushi, sticks, cocktails and sharing plates on the menu. Ordered a 4 Taste dessert and it was great too. Overall, everything was great in this restaurant. It is in the higher price range, but worth it I think. Will definitely go back again.
