We took the train to Wimbledon station and had hoped to catch the bus to the venue... it didn't come so we walked. It was a nice walk, up a hill and took about 25 minutes. We missed our 10:30 tour but were able to join the 11:00 - make sure that if you come from the train station that you leave enough time to walk! The tour is about 1 1/2 hours long and takes you to Center Court, Court 1 and Court 2 in addition to court 18 (we were allowed to touch the grass, after asking our tour guide!). We taken into the press room and everyone took turns sitting at the table for pictures - hamming it up, but still such a thrill. The guide was very knowledgable and offered up much history. For this family of tennis fans, we enjoyed it very much.

Very nice museum featuring the history of tennis and some more modern tennis goodies.
Audio guides in many languages are available.
Spend the extra £10 and take a guides tour! It's about 90 minutes and you'll get into Centre Court, Court No1, the Wimbledon Press room and many more special places that you won't see from the museum.

We came here as my boyfriend is a huge tennis fan and with it being the year that Andy Murray won we couldn't miss it.
The tour was ok, the guide was knowledgeable but other than the press room you can access all of the areas on a ground pass. I was disappointed that we didn't walk in any of the underground tunnels or do the walk from the changing rooms to centre court. I expected more 'backstage' access than we saw. The museum was ok but I won't rush to come back unless to specifically watch a match.

We visited the museum and enjoyed very much the atmosphere it presented. It was such great remembrance of the historical moments of our favourite tennis players such as Pete Sampras and Roger Federer. The tour around the compound was very enriching as well. Nice way to get a lot of information on ways of getting the match tickets, how the press conference was hold, etc. Definitely a must visit for all tennis fans out there!

We loved every minute- I've never seen my kids so animated in a museum! My kids 10&9 play tennis and recognised everything and never stopped taking photos- the history of tennis section is fascinating and the memorabilia is top quality- a London highlight for us- and there wasn't even any tennis- next time!
