My daughter and i had a free sunday afternoon and decided to ride the bus out to wimbledon and tour the grounds, etc. We both enjoy watching the tennis tournament each year so visiting here brought things to life! It was neat to see in person what we usually see on tv! The guide was very informative as well as able to make her tour fun. The tour includes outer courts, center court, the media room, the hill, and historical facts-it concludes with a tour of the museum which houses tennis gear from beginning until modern times, trophies, clothing, shoes, equipment, a sampling of all aspects relating to the evolving of tennis. We were glad we took the time to have a quiet afternoon out here-i do only recommend it for those interested in tennis.

Hop on the Underground to Wimbledon town, and take a short taxi ride to the Wimbledon tennis club. The museum is very nice, taking you through the history of tennis, including some Olympic displays as well. The tour is worth taking around the grounds. You can even sit in the seats that tennis greats sit in for their television interviews.

Took my 13 yr old son as he loves tennis and watching Wimbledon every year. Both of us loved the tour and seeing the centre court and sitting in the press room where all the champions have been interviewed was a real highlight. Well worth doing.

It's a nice small museum featuring Wimbledon championship. What I suggest is that you book a guided tour from Wimbledon website which is about 90 minutes. After the tour, then you visit the museum and the gift shop.

Went to the Museum this past October with my family and we all loved it. Being able to get up on the stage where the palyers give their interviews was an amazing photo opportunity I never thought I would get. The guide was very knowledgable and made a point to answer everyone's questions. After watching Wimbledon for years on TV during the championship it felt great to be able to witness first hand the beauty of the club. Not only was the tour great, but the museum was just as amazing if not better. I learned more than i even realized there was to know about tennis and the history of the club. the displays are very appealling and you dont get the feeling your in just another boring museum. Between the Mcerone exhibit, all the videos, and interactive stops along the way (the reaction time was my favorite) its hard not to get caught up and have tennis fever. The best part of the Museum has to be seeing and taking pictures of the real championship trophies. This has been my favorite attraction in London.
