Hop on the Underground to Wimbledon town, and take a short taxi ride to the Wimbledon tennis club. The museum is very nice, taking you through the history of tennis, including some Olympic displays as well. The tour is worth taking around the grounds. You can even sit in the seats that tennis greats sit in for their television interviews.

“Great Tour”
Reviewed December 6, 2012 via mobile

Took my 13 yr old son as he loves tennis and watching Wimbledon every year. Both of us loved the tour and seeing the centre court and sitting in the press room where all the champions have been interviewed was a real highlight. Well worth doing.

“Nice museum”
Reviewed December 5, 2012

It's a nice small museum featuring Wimbledon championship. What I suggest is that you book a guided tour from Wimbledon website which is about 90 minutes. After the tour, then you visit the museum and the gift shop.

“Simply Amazing”
Reviewed November 29, 2012

Went to the Museum this past October with my family and we all loved it. Being able to get up on the stage where the palyers give their interviews was an amazing photo opportunity I never thought I would get. The guide was very knowledgable and made a point to answer everyone's questions. After watching Wimbledon for years on TV during the championship it felt great to be able to witness first hand the beauty of the club. Not only was the tour great, but the museum was just as amazing if not better. I learned more than i even realized there was to know about tennis and the history of the club. the displays are very appealling and you dont get the feeling your in just another boring museum. Between the Mcerone exhibit, all the videos, and interactive stops along the way (the reaction time was my favorite) its hard not to get caught up and have tennis fever. The best part of the Museum has to be seeing and taking pictures of the real championship trophies. This has been my favorite attraction in London.

“2-for-1 apply only for Museum entrance (Tour is not included)”
Reviewed November 22, 2012

Tour is not included in 2-for-1, only museum. But if you decide do museum+tour, you have to pay full £20, which is seems insane and also very disappointing. I would expect discount on museum and then pay extra £9 per person for tour. Nevertheless, they should include both the tour and the museum in 2 for 1 offer.

If anyone decides to do museum only (£11), there is Centre Court included, which is great!. But, it has a catch. You will only see it from glass “terrace”. You cannot take a good picture because of reflection in glass windows. Overall feeling is like you were on the Centre, but at the same time you will somehow miss the real experience.
