Stayed in a one bedroom third floor apartment for five memorable days in April and everything previously said on this site proved to be correct. First impressions were favourable as the street and entrance are lovely, however my heart sank when I saw the rather faded carpet and foyer. However it was perfectly clean and traditionally furnished with quality fabrics and furniture as was the apartment.
We loved the apartment, beautiful, roomy bathroom and bedroom, small but adequate kitchen and comfortable, atmospheric lounge with tiny balcony to the fascinating street below. Warm as toast, free wi-fi and very helpful manager Terri who will book theatres, taxis etc. Fantastic position, we walked everywhere and always felt so safe, very classy area of Mayfair. Sheperd's Market is just behind the building with lots of lovely restaurants, shops and two supermarkets also so close. Great coffee at the cafe diagonally opposite on the corner. Taxis go past all the time which we used frequently but the tube is only a street away.
The best thing about our stay was the complimentary Chauffeur pick up from the airport if staying five days or more! A great, relaxing way to exit the airport with courteous driver in very new luxury vehicle and it removed all that stress of finding cabs or trains when tired from a long flight. We used that very reliable service again to get to the Pancras station when catching the very early Eurostar to Paris, a great decision in busy morning traffic.
Don't hesitate to stay here, our one bedroom apartment was roomy and glorious to return to at night and so close to a plethora of restaurants as well. We ate out mostly, but did go to Harrods and selected some heavenly seafood meals which we heated up and we always ate a hearty breakfast in before exploring this marvellous city.
These apartments get rather expensive in the high season but we felt we got more than value for money with our April stay and would come back again without question. A bonus was the antique lift which was very reliable and welcome at the end of the day. I also liked the hair salon next door which was so convenient and the bottle shop opposite was handy a s well. Stay here without qualms folks!

Room Tip: Ask for higher floors for less street noise and t!

Our apartment was located at 10 Curzon Street, but managed by the office at 44 Curzon Street - which is directly across the street. The location of these apartments was perfect for us. A beautiful London street, with great character & an array of good eateries nearby.

Check-in was courteous, efficient but not very informative. We made our way across the road & climbed the three flights of narrow stairs to our apartment. Not an easy feat with our cases, but we were aware that there wasn't a lift. Once the cases were disposed of the stairs weren't a problem.

The apartment (2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 living room & a tiny kitchen) was small (as expected), but very cosy. It had all the space we required for a busy stay in London. You can't enter the kitchen without closing the front door and our teenage son's body filled the door frames. If you're looking for a spacious apartment, 10 Curzon Street isn't for you! However, we really enjoyed it - it was exactly what we were looking for.

While the furnishings were a bit dated, they were clean and comfortable - if anything they add to the character of the apartment. The living room had two small couches, a basic television and a little dining setting. It overlooked Curzon Street and was a nice place to relax after a day on our feet. The kitchen was very basic - minimal crockery and cooking utensils, microwave and stove (no dishwasher). However, we did make use of the cooking facilities a few times for basic meals (when we just needed a night in).

The bathroom consisted of a shower over the bath (which was rarely more than a warm trickle of water), basin and toilet (which rarely flushed properly) - definitely a problem with water pressure. Clean towels were plentiful.

The master bedroom was at the back of the apartment, so was quiet. The bed reasonably comfortable. On the other hand, the second bedroom (two single beds) faced onto Curzon Street and our teenagers found that some nights were a bit noisier (at the weekend).

A bonus was the daily cleaning service - beds made, fresh towels, breakfast dishes washed and rubbish removed. A negative was the lack of laundry facilities (although the office offers a laundry service, which we did use out of desperation, but it's quite expensive).

The location of the apartments was fantastic. There is a taxi rank just a few metres along Curzon Street which was very handy. Just a few minutes walk to Buckingham Palace, Pall Mall, the tourist bus stops, numerous supermarkets, pubs and cafes, a movie theatre and Hyde Park. Across the street is the warren that is Shepherds Market - quaint, narrow alleys filled with great places to eat - sandwich bars, pubs and numerous styles of cafes and restaurants. (If you're looking for a great breakfast cafe we'd heartily recommend The Old Express - character, exemplary service, good coffee and great breakfast menu.)

The heating was brilliant - in fact so much so that we needed assistance from the office to turn the temperature down (no complaints though given that we were there in WInter!).

We would definitely stay at 10 Curzon Street again. It was perfect for our London stay.

We stayed the 44 Curzon street Mayfair people at unit 3/33 Charles street in Mayfair as part of our 4 week holiday. The 3 bed & 2 bathrooms unit was great. Access to all major tourist sites is easily on bus ,tube & on foot. It was a bit noisey with traffice ,& a motor bike parked under our bedroom window who went to work early. But it is a city location after all. We stayed 3 weeks. There are resturants & supermarkets in the area which servies all catering requirements. I did think the tour desk was inadequate with a small amount of tours on offer. We were there during winter so maybe the tours we closed for the winter. Tip for the next stay ask for the top floor as the building floor boards creak & you hear your neighbours walk about alot. Secuirty is good keyed entry to your floor via a lift. Will use again. Hopefully the motor bike will have moved.

My daughter and I have just stayed for eleven nights at 10 Curzon st which is just over the road from the reception (44), we were very pleasantly suprised to find the one bedroom apartment we had, almost perfectly matched what we had seen on internet advertising which to be honest I wasn't really expecting. The apartment was beautifully decorated, comfortable and very clean. There is a daily maid service with bedsheets changed every three days and towels as required. The kitchen was well equipped with toaster, jug, microwave ,fridge freezer, utensils, dinnerware etc.It certainly was convienient and a lot cheaper to cook than to buy out all the time.Bathroom had hairdryer and warm towels constantly.Being a mother and daughter combo we both felt very secure at this address which was also quite private which we appreciated. There was no late checkout available but both the reception ladies who we talked to were extremley helpful and allowed us to leave our luggage until 5pm (sat) which is when we were picked up for airport. This is an absloutley fabulous location and as I was on my own for a week when my daughter had to work I found it very easy to get around as it is situated close to green park tube and a host of other walkable tourist attractions and shops etc.We booked in a month when a complimentry pickup from airport was offered and we had a lovley guy (can't remember his name sorry)who was full of local tips very helpful and very pleasant which really put us at ease immediatley. Overall a very enjoyable stay and actually felt like a real home away from home.I would go back here in a heartbeat and hope to.

Love this place and the address is one of London finest, right in Mayfair and it is ever so easy getting there!! Arriving in London Heathrow Airport, getting on the Piccadilly Line, getting off at Green Park, a five minutes walk takes you to Curzon Street 44. The building seems small, but the apartments are big, very comfortble and just lovely!!! One feels at home..arrived in cosy place. Love it!!! After staying in many other places in London, it is place to stay in .. whether on ra ainy day or evening. Everything is around. Arriving late in the evening, went out to get some food in 24hours foodshop nearby. Great Restaurants and Pubs are just behind the building on Shepards Market. In front is Prince Charles favourite Barber Shop >Trumpers<. Great location and everything is easy to reach. Five minutes walk from Piccadilly and St. James Park. Houskeeper takes care of everything and laundry left in the morning is back in the late afternoon and the apartment is clean. Learned that the one bedroom apartment were the first of their kind in London in 1908 and the rich and famous stayed here when coming to London and wanted not be seen. Resident Manager Teresa will arrange for Airport transfers, theatre tickets , sightseeing and the rest of it. Can´t wait to go there again.

We were booked at 10 Curzon, which is just across the reception at 44 Curzon. The rooms are quaint and cozy. The kitchen had a toaster, microwave, oven, cutlery, plates and practically everything to prepare a meal. The only drawback was the building did not have a lift. We were informed of this while booking because you had the option to choose between a unit with or without a lift. I suggest that if you have large luggages, book the one with a lift because it is literally backbreaking to lug everything up those steps.

The location was the best! It's in the Mayfair area which is a quiet neighborhood in an upscale area of London. It's across a supermarket (Tesco's) and a quaint row of restaurants (Shepherd's Market). If you need a wider choice for groceries, it's a 7 minute walk to Sainsbury's or the Mark & Spencers food hall. It's just a block away from the Green Park tube station and Piccadilly Street, where you can take the hop on hop off tours (in front of the Ritz Hotel) or grab a bus to wherever. It's also a short walk to the Buckingham Palace. There may be a bit of noise from cars passing along Curzon Street, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem. Free broadband internet is also provided and the unit is cleaned everyday.

I would definitely stay there again but I'd choose the building with the lift.

Just spent 6 nights in a one bedroom apartment at 44 Curzon, and could not be happier. The apartments are in a fabulous location, 1 block walk to Hyde Park, one block to Piccadilly, and an easy stroll into Piccadilly Circus. We also walked to Westminster Abbey, to South Bank and to Kensington Palace. There is also a tube station and bus stops at Green park if needed. Our apartment was spacious, warm and comfy, with a great bed and very nice pillows. The reception was helpful, and the gorgeous old lift was a delightful experience. Also handy to local shops and pubs, we were very happy with this stay, and highly recommend these apartments to all. We used the kitchenette and toaster each morning, and there were tea/coffee making facilities provided. Sorry to leave!
