We stayed here 24th-26th April 2013. After reading some reviews we were a little worried. When we got there the two ladies in reception were more than welcoming. We checked in and paid a reasonable amount for a hotel in London. Our bedroom was good(yes a little small but manageable) we were using a wheelchair and they were more than happy to keep it in one of their rooms so it didn't take up more space in the room. The cleanliness of the room was good, few little spots of what looked like burn marks in the furniture but the bedding was clean(outdated but after long travelling was welcomed) bathroom even cleaner which was amazing, we had a downstairs room (58) and lovely view of argyle square gardens, breakfast was amazing couldn't complain at that, staff more than helpful, good signal on the free wifi and we checked out at 11 but train not til 10pm at night but they stored our luggage until 9pm(they would of stored it longer if we needed). Location perfect only a 3 minute walk over the road from kings cross! Only complaint we had was the lightbulb flicked constantly whenever anyone above walked about, but had a little desk lamp which we put on instead whilst watching tv which had good signal on free view! If you bare in mind it's a low budget hotel you will be pleasantly surprised, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and WOULD return again next year!

I stayed here with my partner and two children. We booked a family room with a cot. The room consisted of a double and single bed but there was no cot. The receptionist said if we need a cot then we can remove furniture to fit one in so my partner had to remove a chest of drawers and a chair for the cot to be squeezed in. Staff very helpful, food average, no high chairs available for children. We have stayed here before and would return, prime location, recommended.

Only 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross Station. I was able to leave my case in my room at 0930 even though room was not ready. All staff were pleasant. I stayed for 4 nights in a basement room which was fairly quiet. Help yourself breakfast from 0700-0930 which was well cooked. After reading some negative reviews about this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel, staff and cleanliness. Over the years I have stayed in worse places in London and paid a lot more for the privilege. I would recommend this hotel for anyone travelling on a budget.

It must be noted that there is no lift. The hotel is converted from 5 city houses connected with corridors, with 4/5 floors above street level.

A small room with a window that wouldn't close, people talking aloud in front of the hotel day and night, rude staff that didn't bother to clean the sheets every morning. I might add a few etceteras. Although I must say, the breakfast was fully English, be it with lemonade in stead of orange juice. Don't go there.

We stay for 4 night double room. The rooms are very small include bed, little closet and electric kettle. The hotel is very clean and the room is looked as renewed.
The location of hotel is brilliant. Three underground lines and buses from London center comes to King Cross station.

This hotel is near located to Kings Cross - a good and central location. The price is normal for London. The entrance looks friendly. BUT: The small rooms are dusty, not clean. The heating is switched off in the night. The bathroom with the shower is horrible !!! Everywhere - the wall and particularly the shower head are mildew infested!!! This is really unhealthy!!! English breakfast is o.k., but you have to wait sometimes for toast, eggs, tea or coffee. Because of the bathroom we can never recommend this hotel.
