If you are in a need of a BIG apartment, then Tulip is great for you. Location is nice, around 500 metres from the nearest underground station (Kentish town). I don't know if all the sixteen apartments are located in the same place but ours was a bit far (though a walking distance) away from the office where you need to pick the key up. So it might be a bit difficult to wander around if you have much luggage with you.
As I mentioned, the apartment was huge. A large kitchen, long corrido, a huge living/dining room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The furniture was all from Ikea and a bit worn out. Comparing to the size of the apartment the toilet was very small. For some reason there was no entrance to the balconies though one could have been a nice to enjoy a bit of sun (the another one had a long-ago dead pigeon on the floor, yuck). Weirdly the bedrooms were located in the noisy street side of the apartment as the kitchen and living room were in the more silent backyard side.
However, I felt Tulip apartments are a great value for money. With 120 euro for a night it can't be expected to live in a palace. What can be expected is a good location, comfy rooms and functional equipments. Tulip had it all, along with the best beds (and pillows) I have ever slept in when sleeping out of home. If looking for a spacious accommodation with a reasonable price and within a short underground trip from the city centre, I could recommend Tulip apartments.
