I stayed here overnight for a business trip. Literally in at 9pm and out at 8am. It was perfect for my purposes, yes the room is small but it is clean and the staff friendly. bathroom a bit dated and small but nice hot shower. I got good value for money on a last minute deal. Would recommend it for this purpose but not for staying any length of time in the room.

We were booked into this hotel for a company event. However, on arrival (and after we had paid in full!) we were then told we would actually be staying in another of their hotels directly across the road - what?!?

The other hotel was dire, it had not been touched or decorated since at least the 70's, there was mould in the bathrooms, no reception area (just a doorbell), threadbare carpets, musty smell in corridors and rooms etc, etc.

How can a hotel take a booking using images and reviews on one hotel and then send you to another which is in appalling condition?

Avoid booking into this hotel at all costs, you may find yourself staying somewhere that you hadn't expected....

Room Tip: I suspect all rooms are equally bad. If you are in a twin a word of warning, at least one of them ha...

Me & my partner stayed here for 2 nights in June, we needed place close to hyde park for a gig and somewhere with parking which was only £10 per day which is nothing in London.

Staff where lovely.

We basically only slept in the room as they are rather on the small size if you’re looking for somewhere cheap and to crash I recommend Springfield however if you want luxury pay the price for it.

The hotel is pretty bad. I emailed them few days before my arrival asking how I could get there using public transposrtation and they never got back to me. You have to pay the whole stay on your arrival! Plus, if you pay with credit card they charge you 4% plus. The bed was not very clean. Plus, the daily cleaning was not good. They forget to put soap on the bathroom. There was no curtain in the shower, so the bathroom was always soaked. The fornt desk people were not able to give any info about the city attractions or transportation. They were not friendly at all. There's no lift. They charge way too much for what they offer. I DO NOT recommend the hotel.

We stayed at the Springfield only because we arrived one day earlier and didn't have a hotel for the night. We were in four and they had a family room available and it was conveniently near the hotel we had booked for the next day. Unfortunately the room was at the top floor and there wasn't a lift so we had to carry our luggage up 6 flights of steep steps. The room and the bathroom were very small, but we could manage to have a bath in spite of the broken shower and the sewer smell. Breakfast was included but the rate was too high for what we got. Thankfully it was just for one night.

although great location and decent enough breakfast there was an obvious plumbing problem. Any time the shower was used the room was filled with a dirty sewer smell as if the water then diturbes something nasty lurking beneath. could not stay here again!!!!
