“Best free activity in London”
Reviewed November 30, 2013

Even as a resident of London, I never tire of a walk or run along the Thames. On a nice sunny day nothing is more rewarding than a gentle stroll along the Thames Walkway between Westminster Bridge and Tower bridge.

“An inspiring walk...............”
Reviewed November 27, 2013

Just to walk along the Thames River Embankment is a experience in itself. To see all the wonderful architecture & historical buildings. There is so much to grab the eye. There are often things going on along the river particularly near to The London Eye County Hall area. There are several bars, restaurants & refreshment outlets along the way too. Give it a try, it's well worth it.

“Walk, walk, walk”
Reviewed November 19, 2013

If time poor do the cruise, otherwise just walk. So much more to see on foot. History and modern life, side by side. And ancient treasures just around the corner.

“does what it says on the label”
Reviewed November 15, 2013

It does exactly what it says on the label,it's a river,it doesn't play an instrument,it doesn't sing,it's not really blue, there are things in there that doctor who would be scared of,why David attenborough did life on earth they didn't do the Thames for a reason, but it is the life blood of the city and London wouldn't be the same without it,by the way the polar bear who escaped from the tower of London several hundred years ago died when it went swimming in this so bear this in mind.

“A must do”
Reviewed November 12, 2013

For a tourist, a must do in London.

Cruised from Westminster to Tower of London

We were fortunate to have magnificent weather, which added more to the trip.
In peak tourist season, things were crowded, packed but perhaps livelier.

For photo ops one has to be quick on one's feet, especially with the crowds.

I do not think the experience would be the same in miserable weather.
