My sister took my mum and I here for a treat a couple of months ago and I have to say what a great experience it was. We had a few micro brewery beers next door in the adjoining bistro and would have eaten there if we could have got table, it was heaving but the food looked incredible. The actual cinema really had the wow factor though. A quirky old fashioned foyer with yummy doughnuts, then into the actual cinema with red leather chesterfield style arm chairs, a puffet and cashmere throws, your own side table with a small lamp to place your wine and gourmet sausage roll, or if you prefer, you can have a double bed at the front or a two seater sofa at the back. Terrific! The loos are well appointed in an art deco style and the screen itself though appearing small and traditional was a super hi-tech expanding delight! My advice is do your shopping, go to the cinema and then the bistro, you will not regret!

Fantastic experience! Booked the front row sofas as these were the only sofas available and they did not disappoint. £30 for 2 people for a 3D film – nearly the same price as a normal cinema, but a much better experience. The sofas are comfy and clean and big, they are more like beds than sofa’s. The screen initially looked small, however it expanded once the film started and was a reasonable size. Personally, I would recommend booking the sofa’s just to get a different experience at a cinema. I would definitely go again as it is well worth the experience and price.

This is a wonderful cinema and whole movie experience - it makes going to the cinema a real event! Really comfy seats and blankets in the foot rests so you can be as cosy as you like. More pricey than other cinemas but definitely worth while every now and then for a treat.

This is a wonderful cinema and movie experience. The extremely comfortable sofas, with foot stools are the best way to see a movie in London. Having the bar and food counter right in the cinema is something that we have never seen, any where in the world. The view from every seat is excellent. The food and drinks are great, and the fact that they wait until everyone has obtained all their food and drinks from the bar, before starting the movies, is a great idea. The decor is a classic cinema type experience, and the prices, although higher than other cinemas in London, are worth the experience, as the comfort level far exceeds any other cinema in London. We would highly recommend this cinema as a great night out whilst in London.

This is a real classic cinema experience. Historic cinema and one of the oldest in the country. Good size screen and every seat, sofa and bed in the cinema offers a great view and the most supreme comfort unrivalled by any cinema in London. Prices are on the other hand very expensive for both tickets and food. However as with a lot of things in life you get what you pay for, and it allows you to see your film in peace without people talking through the movie or to put it bluntly ruined by uneducated chavs and estate trash! Glad we can price them out of some of the everyday luxuries in life!
