Owner description: We are sorry to advise that Thames Water has exercised its statutory rights and given notice to acquire our launch pad at Vauxhall. This means, regretfully, London Duck Tours’ current business of carrying fare paying passengers on the River Thames must cease from 09.00 on Monday 18th September 2017 to make way for the construction of the Thames Tideway Tunnel. Managing Director of London Duck Tours, John Bigos said, “The 18th September will be a very sad day for the company, which was going from strength to strength, but it was vital not to delay construction of this much needed infrastructure project.” We will update you on events in January 2018.

My wife and I joined one of these tours and enjoyed it. Was surprised to hear that the vehicle we were in, is 71 years old. The drive around the city gave us excellent views of London city. The drive into the Thames river and the subsequent cruise was a new experience. Tickets are a bit expensive but this is London where crowds of tourists gather from all over the world.

This was by far one of the more memorable experiences during our trip. The kids loved it and the guide was very entertaining. The experience truly cannot be duplicated. It isn't cheap but then again, neither is car/boat fuel.

A good way to spend 75 mins, the tour guide was great and gave us a few laughs along the way as well as it being quite educational.

We were recommended to take the tour while in London last month. It was the best tour trip we could have taken. The tour guide was hilarious, although his dry humour was lost in translation for some. The tour took in many sites that would otherwise be missed and the guides knowledge of each location was excellent.

We were due to go on the Duck boat tour this weekend for a birthday surprise, it was cancelled 48hrs in advance, we were offered a reschuled spot in two weeks time or a refund, but it is impossible to get hold of the office for a refund.

We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. Cancelled tours are rare for us. I can confirm we have tried to contact this customer for their refund and will gladly fulfil our obligations once contact has been made.
