“AN IMPOSING BUILDING.”
Reviewed June 7, 2012

A very imposing ediface, which provides an effective boundary between the bustle of Trafalgar Square and the comparative calm of The Mall.

“A grace and favour arch”
Reviewed June 4, 2012

The grace and favour apartments of the Deputy prime Minister, the former offices of government are the entrance the The mall and Buckingham palace. Not architecturally interesting but as part of the Trafalgar Square experience, they form the gateway to the grand entrance of Buckingham palace.

So easy to ignore this structure - look up if you are passing and take a while to stand and stare...
