“GOOD PRICE”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

My sister and i stayed in a twin room it was very very clean if on the small side, we only wanted the one night so this was fine the room was at the back of the hotel again this was fine due to it being on a main road so we did not hear the traffic, the beds could due with new mattresses we could feel the springs in them but we were tired so we did sleep
We did find the room a bit stuffy but was told when we checked out we could of had a fan had we asked so that was our fault
Breakfast was good and service good a good choice of cold meats, cheeses ect we had full English with a pot of coffee and a pot of tea a full rack of toast there was plenty to eat
A very good price for our room £75 i did have to pay an extra £5 because i paid by credit card

Room Tip: rooms at the back are quieter due to the hotel being on a main road

Stayed here for a concert held at Finsbury Park. Rooms are small but it was ideal for a resting place after the concert. Bathroom was also small but very clean. There was no bar at this hotel but right next door there is a cafe bar as aprt of another hotel which had a small beer garden.
Tube from London Victoria is approx 15 minutes to Finsbury park station and the hotel is about a 5 minute walk up the road from the station.
Breakfast was average sausage/bacon/egg tea and coffee.
In summary - if you have an event at Finsbury Park then this is great, wouldn't want to spend more than a couple of nights though due tio no bar etc

Stayed here with my husband & daughter as we're seeing a concert at Finsbury Park. Interns of location from tube station and finsbury Park itself, it was tremendous. I agree with other reviewers that the rooms were small, we had 3 beds in ours so could just get around the beds but we couldn't fault the cleanliness. The bathroom was small but adequate & again spotless and as we were only stepping in there for 1 night it did the job.

The breakfast was better than expected in my opinion. A choice of meats, cheese, cereal, fruit juice & a full English with toast & marmalade/jam. I asked for poached eggs on toast, no problem. The staff were friendly, efficient & attentive without being overbearing. A great balance.

If we were coming to finsbury park again, I would absolutely look to book this hotel.

I know they say in London the rooms are small, but this was really small. But beyond that, it was very clean, the staff was very nice, and it was very close to Finsbury Park tube. We stayed for the Muse concert at Emirates and it wasn't a bad walk to the stadium at all. The thing I didn't like though was that the doors have regular key locks and they make you turn in the key when you leave the hotel. It just didn't sit well with me. Also, the walls are VERY thin. To the point you can hear your neighbors very easily.

Stayed here for one night in May after concert at the Emirates Stadium. Very good location as only 15-20 mins walk to the Emirates and only 5 mins from Finsbury Park tube. We had a quad room which was small (not unexpected in London) but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic but ok. All in all it met our needs, which was somewhere to sleep after a gig.

Room Tip: Our room did not face the road and was quiet enough - there was a fun fair opposite in Finsbury Park...

Hotel is well located for transport links, rooms are ok showers in the rooms not very powerful. The rooms are clean and good variety for breakfast, also staff are very nice and helpful. Only negative is that there seems to be long term guests staying in the hotel families who are very noisy and where constantly in and out of rooms banging their doors which when continues to about 1.00 in the morning is very annoying. But apart from that good hotel would happily stay again.

The location is fine, easily accessible to Finsbury Park station. The rooms are fine for the price, though small. The rooms on the road are externally noisy, constantly in spite of double glazing, and internally noisy because of the door closers on all doors and VERY thin walls - you can hear everything. Not suitable for light sleepers.
My room had a faulty door handle (inside) on the bathroom, which did get fixed within 24 hrs of being reported. Then a fault developed on the internal door lock device - without which the room was not secure. I asked for help with this before going to sleep and then also asked for attention to the remote control or new batteries. The gentleman on duty rounded on me and said I was arrogant and uncivil and if I wanted 5 star service I should go somewhere else and pay 5 star prices. Customer service eh? But he couldn't fix the lock and subsequently agreed to a room change which proved satisfactory.
Other staff on reception were very helpful.
