After reading a lot of reviews I though I would give Chotto Matte a go. The actual restaurant is lovely, it was a sunny evening and the glass doors downstairs were fully concertinaed back. The bar area has a vibe and the toilets were certainly different. We were shown to our table downstairs a really nice open spacious dining area. The food was Asian fusion like many other restaurants but it was really nice. The wine and sake menu was also very extensive. the evening is expensive but it is one of "the" places to go in London at the moment, it really had a buzz.
I really enjoyed the evening and the restaurant itself was one of the nicest about. However as mentioned above the food is very nice but not exceptional, dish for dish I think the food at Roka is different class, also Asian fusion see my review. There is no doubt that it is a great fun evening but if you are an absolute foodie and don't care about your surrounds then for that sort of money there is only one winner.
