“Lovely tribute”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2013

We happened upon this fountain while we wandered through Hyde Park on our first day in London. It was not crowded and so it seemed extra peaceful. The fountain is really quite neat in how it flows in both directions downward toward Serpentine Lake. There is little to do besides read an adjacent plaque and relax, but it is worth including on your Hyde Park itinerary.

“Fitting Memorial to a much loved lady”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2013

There are signs which lead you through Hyde Park to the Memorial Fountain. Many are surprised to find that it is a low stream with small cascades. One is able to sit by the side and there is a feeling of serenity and tranquility there. There is a delightful coffee shop just a few minutes further on in the park where they serve great coffee and ice-creams

“Relaxing”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2013 via mobile

A really beautiful place even though I don't really understand the link with Diana. You can put your feet in the water and it's amazing !
Hyde Park is surrounding the fountain thus the environment could not be better.

“Perfect Memorial for Princess Diana”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2013

I went on a sunny day and children were playing in the fountain with their friends and families. I felt Princess Diana's spirit was in this place because she loved children and the atmosphere was full of happiness and laughter.

The fountain is not that long and there is also green space around where you can sit and relax or watch the children having fun (but not really for picnic because the space is not ideal for that).

Please be careful with your children as it may be slippery walking or running around in the fountain, etc. There was a guard on duty to watch out for the children, but you should still be careful.

There are toilets just a 2 minute walk from the fountain which can be very crowded and also a bar and cafe where there is outdoor seating and you can enjoy the view of the Serpentine Lake.

I really recommend visiting on a sunny day as a cloudy or rainy day in London will not be really worth it to visit, especially if you're planning to relax in the sun or take children with you.

“Daughter Loved It”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 8, 2013

We visited on a lovely sunny day, the Fountain was busy, but our daughter loved it, you can walk the whole way round, the fountain varies in depth from knee deep to just covering your feet. A lovely place to spent the afternoon
