We booked a week here and loved it. 2 adults and a teen, my daughter loved her room and having her own space. The apartment had everything we needed. We made good use of the washer dryer as we had been on a tour for a week already.
The apartment is a short 5 min walk from Pimlico station, there is a Tesco down the road so you can stock up on groceries. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.
A perfect home away from home. I have recommended to many people and would definitely stay here again.
The flat exceeded our expectations and was a perfect home away from home for our family of 3! The location is amazing, and close to tube stations and bus stops, yet nestled on a side street off the main road so it's super quiet even though it's ground level. Nokka met us at the flat and was so helpful settling us in, and you're provided with some travel sized amenities in case you forget anything (there are grocery stores nearby too). There is also a list of nearby places to eat, and we'd recommend Pizza Express for a quick family-friendly meal. Amanda communicated well beforehand, too! If you're new to the washer/dryer combo feature, have Nokka walk you through it...that was our only hiccup but really minor! We can't wait to visit again!!!
Had a lovely week in this flat. Modern, clean and had everything you could need e.g. Washing machine, dishwasher, fully fitted kitchen, all towels etc were provided plus washing powder, kitchen cloths washing up liquid etc. Surrounded by shops, bars, restaurants and take always so nothing was a problem to source. Extremely handy for underground stations on either side so nowhere was difficult to get to. Flat is decorated to a high standard and is pretty with all its red accents. We are a family of 4. Me my husband, 18 year old daughter and 15 year old son. Although flat is fairly compact it is certainly big enough for what is ultimately 4 adults sharing ( we make them tall in our family!) only complaint we would have ( and this is no fault of the owner) is that the flat upstairs is owned by a family with a small child. We suspect they have wooden floors and you can hear the wee one running up and down and lots of banging, scraping of chairs and what sounds like a sit on wheeled toy being driven up and down the flat. You can hear them from quite early in the morning. They also have a tendency to leave the pushchair, washing basket, suitcases and deliveries in the front hallway which led to our front door. This caused a few problems with our access when we were coming in with shopping bags, cases etc. This aside, we could find no fault with 106. All bedding and towels were spotless. Would certainly recommend you stay here for a great holiday in London. Thanks to Nokka for making the flat so clean and comfortable for our arrival and to Amanda for allowing us to stay in her lovely flat.
Our family of 4 comfortably spent a week in this apartment. It was stylishly furnished and we found the location extremely convenient, both for local restaurants, supermarkets, etc and for access to multiple tube stations & bus stops that made it so easy to travel all around London. The apartment had everything we needed and access was very easy. There were some issues with the noise of the neighbours as they walk around their apartment and loudly exit the building in the morning right next to the bedroom, but this is to be expected from London apartment living.
We are a family of 4 and visited during Easter week. The flat is in a quiet neighborhood with shops, bakeries and pubs within walking distance. We felt very safe here, even walking at night with the kids. We were able to get a cab very quickly everyday outside the flat--one time at 4:30am!
We had a little issue with heat/hot water the first day but Amanda was very apologetic and compensated us for the inconvenience. I feel bad even mentioning it in the review. Ahhh first world problems. :)
The flat is on the ground floor and structured in the formation of an alley meaning that each room is next to each other down a line. Master bedroom was on the street side and had a large closet and queen size bed. Bathroom had a nice size shower; heater was on the wall so need to ensure you don't bump into it. Living room had TV, sofa and dining table for four. Next room down the line was the kitchen (small but we only used the fridge, sink and cabinets) and last room was kids room with two twin beds. It was cozy and very clean.
Flat also had a washer/dryer combo (never knew that existed-like the Jetsons in that you put dirty clothes in and clean, dry clothes come out!)
There were plenty of lights, most with dimmers.
We would definitely stay here again! I would recommend the flat for family of four or less. Great place and very nice owner!
We had an amazing week in London, no doubt due to the fact that we were very comfortable and rested due to our stay in this lovely flat! Everything was exactly as described, spotlessly clean, and perfectly maintained in working order. The location was extremely convenient, safe, and quiet for an urban setting. We found the neighborhood to be lively and charming. We were a party of 3 - my husband, myself and our 14 year old daughter. The flat would easily accommodate another guest to share the twin bedroom. It is spacious and airy with high ceilings. The bathroom is a little on the small side for those from the U.S., but as long as you are aware of that (and not over 6 feet tall, probably) it is very nice. Every appliance you could want was found in the kitchen. Plus, we were able to pack light and use the laundry machine in the apartment. It was great doing business with the owner and the keyholder. Amanda was a great communicator throughout the process and provided us with excellent information on the flat and wonderful local restaurant information. Nokka met us promptly, went out of her way to show us everything in the flat, and also walked with us into the neighborhood so we could start settling in right away. We loved Pimlico and would be happy to make the neighborhood and the flat a base for another trip. We traveled all over the city by tube, by bus, and walked. Most travel seemed to take no longer than 20 minutes. In short, we had an absolutely great week and would highly recommend this flat to anyone looking to make London their home for a week or more.
This was my 2nd time to stay in the beautiful Pimlico flat. (1st time was Sept 2015) And this stay was just as great as the first time. The flat is located in a lovely neighborhood that has great pubs, restaurants, Tesco and pharmacy within walking distance. There are 2 bus stops within a 2 min walk from the flat, Pimlico tube station (which is only 1 stop from Victoria) is less than an 8 min walk away and Victoria Station is about a 15 min walk. The flat is cozy, the mattresses and linens are Heaven, and the layout is perfect as one bed room is in the front of the flat and the other is in the back of the flat. Do be mindful the bathroom is quite narrow and you bump your knees on the towel warmer. Luckily we never had it on. Amanda is always so sweet and helpful and gets back with you quickly. I would recommend this flat to anyone looking to stay when a great neighborhood at an affordable price. I miss being there and think of it often.
