Popped in for a Sunday roast and as always the wonderful member of staff called Pete was as always cheerful polite and made us feel warm and welcome. You can never leave the pub unhappy when he is working. He brightens up the place employee of the month happy costumers :)

I popped in to The Gregorian pub last weekend and was impressed by how friendly and welcoming the staff were. The decor inside is fairly awful - dark and outdated (who thought a dark green ceiling was a good idea?) - and the food was only very average pub fare, but my goodness the staff made up for that. Helpful, thoughtful and kind. I’ll definitely go back, just to be made to feel that nothing was too much trouble.

I have been coming here for sometime and never posted a review. Lately this pub has been going from strength to strength with greatly food and some great bar staff. Always friendly and provide great serve. The beer is also a reasonable price for the area. Highly recommended!

Nice pub with very friendly safe. Prices and food are very good compared to other pubs in the area like the kings arms which is extortionate. Thoroughly recommend as come in here once a week at least

I ate here for three nights running!! The service was friendly and very efficient. There were some nice wines and the food was delicious and a reasonable price, AND there was one vegan option of a burger which my vegan friend thought was delicious too. Only criticism the rosemary fries were too greasy BUT the sweet potato fries and the thick cut chips were excellent. The fish was very tasty and the bavette steak absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere felt more like the pubs of the "old days" with a real buzz and not too fancy!!!!!!! Right up my street!
