Chinese food £4 at crowded Camden Locks. Being in a film. Walking along the canal with swans and geese. Dinging bike bells. Listening to Haydn's Schöpfungen quietly on iPhone. The London Zoo Aviary. A wildebeest. Sharing an egg roll with a German tourist. Admiring the mansions.

2nd time of visiting, and could not believe the markets we stumbled across that we had missed the 1st time. Fantastic bargains to be had, lots of haggling and lots of different kinds of stalls to suit everyone. Food market excellent with something to suit all tastebudds

Very busy section of London. Lots of shops and places to eat. Get off the main streets and explore the neighborhoods you can really see its charm. Go there for the HUGE market. This area stays noisy late into the night. Get up early and take a stroll while it is still quiet. Great location close to tube station. Take the canal boat trip down the Regent's Canal to Little Venice.

Walk down the street across the bridge from subway station Camden Town. There are many different little shops in the stables market from many diffrent countries and cultures. But you can also buy some souvenirs and so much more.
Don't make the same mistake like me. If you want to have a lunch, go to the Lock Market for having one and don't eat something along the street.
Keep in mind, the station is on sundays only open for exit - you have to walk to the next station (Mornington Crescent) for about ten minutes.

The atmosphere in this area of London is hard to compare to the better known tracks of the city centre. It's highly recommended to go though, the market is great and bigger than we expected. Lots of shops, food options and of course pubs for all to visit. The actual Camden Lock is nearby and not that impressive at all, yet fun to see where the area got its name from. Hipsters to be should vist the shops for sure, as they offer completely different items than say, Oxford Street.
