Recently spent 6 nights at Maggies studio. The studios itself had a basic kitchen which was more than adequate and Maggie kindly supplied us with cereals, milk, jam etc. Maggie even emailed us prior to our visit to see if we wanted light or full cream milk. Studio was very comfortable and was so quiet and peaceful that it was a pleasure to come home after the hustle and bustle of London.
The location was perfect - 5-8 min to buses,DLR and river transport. Only two DLR stops to the Tower so it is so convenient.
Had two meals at the Grapes pub just across the road. Ate downstairs in the bar area and the ribs I had were outstanding. The other place you should go and see is the Museum of London - one of the better museums we have been too.
A lot has been said about Maggie in the reviews and it's all true. From the time we booked the studio she was so helpful responding quickly to any questions we had. Maggie arrange for a reasonably priced taxi pick up from Heathrow which was a god send after a 13.5 hour flight from Singapore.Maggie also purchased two Oyster cards for us, we paid of course but we did not have the hassle of going to buy them. Maggie also takes her guest for a 30 min drive around Docklands so you can be become familiar with the area. Maggie was always available for questions but was not intrusive so you had your privacy.
I forgot to say that at all times we felt very safe walking around the docklands area. This was even late at night after we had been out to a couple of London theatres. I think this is very important considering the world we live in today.
Lastly thank you Maggie - it was a pleasure to meet you and hope to catch up if we ever visit London again.

The location was great - very near to everything you could want, London is easily accessible by the Underground and right across the street is a very special pub!
This studio was the perfect size for two adults with all modern fixtures, a comfortable bed and a very lovely, accomodating hostess, who helped two "yanks' VERY PATIENTLY. Thank you Maggie (and Ray, too).
We do not have enough words to express our delight with our accommodations and the incredible care we were given by the owner Maggie. The location is away from the hustle-bustle of London yet very close to all that the city has to offer. Maggie made sure all of our needs were taken care of from arranging a driver to pick us up from the airport (and return), to purchasing our Oyster card, to making reservations for lunch, to showing us around the neighborhood, and more. The apartment was perfect. Clean, comfortable, private, filled with amenities - she even stocked the refrigerator with all one needs for a simple breakfast along with an assortment of cereals, teas, biscuits. We were blown away! This is our new home away from home when we visit London!
My main criteria when I look for a vacation rental are clean, quiet, convenient location and comfortable bed. This studio was absolutely spotless and very quiet. It is close to the bus and train, so it was very easy to get around - even for our first visit to London. And, oh, the bed. I miss those pillows! But what put this studio at the top of our list of favorite places we have rented, was Maggie. She really went over and above every expectation we could possibly have had to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Communication was excellent from the start. She took care of every detail - from arranging a car to pick us up at the airport to stocking the kitchen with cereal, milk, coffee, tea and snacks. When we go back to London, we won't even search for a place - we'll just plan on staying in Maggie's studio again. And it will be like visiting an old friend.
With bus replacement for our trains over the Easter weekend, and wanting to visit family in different parts of London, we decided to stay over and become tourists for four nights. We couldn't have chosen a cosier and well located studio. Maggie welcomed us personally and gave us all the information we needed. It was so helpful to have all the basic provisions for breakfast, and there was a corner shop a few minutes away. We walked to Canary Wharf in about 10mins and found the whole area fascinating, especially the Docklands museum in an old warehouse. The studio was quiet and as described, so you know that there isn't a full kitchen or a view from the Windows - not issues for us. A wonderful stay; we really had a great time ; thank you, Maggie.
This studio apartment is in a gated street in Limehouse and is located very close to easy walking paths to London, Canary Wharf and Greenwich and to excellent public transport hubs. Even better it has The Grapes (an ancient English pub haunted by Dickens and owned by an ancient English actor - Ian McKellar). Maggie (your landlady) is a wealth of knowledge about London and is only too happy to make sure that you feel at home and getting the most out of your visit. The studio is very comfortable and quiet. You can feel quite secure here. The studio is well provided with basics for breakfast and there are plenty of excellent places to eat close by. The location is also excellent for walking (to London centre itself, to Greenwich via under Thames footpath and via the Regents towpath along the canals). This is a lovely part of London.
