Description: London's new, luxury, healthy, delicious, artisan, snackers' paradise Top quality nuts, dried fruit, chocolate and coffee have a new home in London in the form of Carpo, a magical emporium of a store in the heart of Piccadilly selling the very finest snacks from across the world. Carpo is unlike other luxury food vendors in that it takes its customer journey a step further, immersing shoppers in the flavours, smells and sounds of the products and countries where they come from, giving a complete sensory experience. Its extensive range stretches from popular favourites such as pistachios, peanuts and almonds, to the less familiar like whole sweet preserved lemons, goji berries and dried kiwi fruits. While the raw materials are from far and wide, much of the process and production required to get many of the ingredients from nature to the shop floor takes place here, and many products are straight from the oven to the shelf.

“Artisan coffee, ornate brass and brown coffee bean interior with Londonesque view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

Talk about polite staff! It was like being in Charlies and the Chocolate factory!

Constantly there are at least half a dozen staff/waiters/waitresses serving and handing out samples of delicious bread sticks/pretzel-esque nibbles along with increduble (dark 85%) chocolates.

Of course its for purchase to. The servers switch what they serve and happy to sate you with freebies, I returned the following day for a filter coffee....I am always happy to see filter coffee listed rather than Latte etc, as its the coffee that makes the taste.

It looked like a wonderful science experiment, the way they had coffee pipes et al, to formulate the perfect brew.

It was great 4.5/5. I went for Colombian, my favourite origin and also the healthiest. It was deliciously creamy and this was before I put the correct milk (full fat) in to compliment the aroma and taste.

Will return again with the lady next week (last before).

My friends had either Iced hot chocolate or hot chocolate. I tried it and they weren't a fan of it. The staff were (I think) all foreign and had a richer palate.

PS: Excellent location near to Piccadilly Circus.

“(ONE OF) THE BEST COFFEE IN THE WORLD”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2013

The Advertisment in the window promises the best coffee in the world -which I can not justify (tasted only couple of thousand so far).
But surely must be one of the best.
A recently opened coffee & nuts bar, with fresh bakery and superb coffee is to start with.
Than the greek owner (and his nice assistants) offer you to taste their nuts (simply delicacies) -which you will dcide to bring home as a souvenir.
Te location (few steps from Picadilly Circus), the hospitality and smile of of the owner, the great products they sell: make this place so much different from many of the famous coffee shops of London.
